Many times in the past, Shri Maharaj Ji has entered into Samadhi and has come out of it at his will. Moreover, the occurrence of Samadhi has been an innate part of India’s spiritual heritage since time immemorial.
A few people with mallafied intentions are spreading rumours that Shri Maharaj Ji is no more. They are outraging the religious sentiments of followers of Shri Maharaj Ji across the World. People who are giving statements against Samadhi of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji and the organisation have a past record of acting maliciously against the organisation.”
However, the mystery over Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan (DJJS) founder Ashutosh Maharaj's 'death' or 'transcendental samadhi' deepened further, this spiritual minded guru has been on this 'transcendental samadhi' and kept inside freezer since January, 2014! Meanwhile doctors declared the guru 'clinically dead' of heart attack on January 29, but his loyal followers refused to accept the reality.
Dera management claimed that he was in deep meditation while refusing to put any time limit to his "revival". DJJS preachers stated that media had created hype on the issue and "rumours of death" spread due to communication gap.
Dera preachers Vishalanand, Vishavdevanand and Jaya Bharti, who interacted with the media at dera headquarters, ruled out any possibility to allow any outsider, including senior official or media persons, to have a look at the sect head from a distance while he was in 'samadhi.' They said initial information about Ashutosh Maharaj's death was given by some 'sewadars' (volunteers) as they could not comprehend he was in 'samadhi'.
"Earlier also he would sit in 'samadhi' for longer times, which could be of several hours after bolting his room from inside," the dera spokespersons said. However, they admitted that earlier they had never seen him in such a condition. They also denied that there was any row of succession in the dera.
