The world’s shortest man and tallest man met for the
first time on Thursday, November 13th, 2014, in commemoration of 60th years of
Guinness World Records in London, England.
Sultan Kösen (31), from Turkey standing at is 251 cm (8
ft 3 inches) and Chandra Dangi, from Nepal measuring 54.6 cm (21.5 inches), posed for photos
outside the Houses of Parliament.
Mr Kösen, a part-time farmer from Ankara (Turkey), also
holds the record for the largest hands of a living person, each measuring 11.22
in from the wrist to the tip of the middle finger.
Mr Dangi, who lives in a Nepalese village, is the
shortest adult human alive; he is as tall as six cans of
Heinz baked beans stacked on each other.
