OPC LEADER REMANDED FOR ALLEGED MURDER IN EKITI STATE

Odua People’s Congress (OPC) leader in Ekiti State, Adeniyi Adedipe, aka Apase, has been has remanded in custody for alleged murder.

According to Police prosecutor Caleb Leranmo, the accused conspired to murder the former National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Chairman, Omolafe Aderiye and also attempted to murder Olumide Gabriel and that the accused committed the offence on or April 7 and September 25 in Ado-Ekiti.

Chief Magistrate Adesoji Adegboye adjourned the case till December 1.
