facts have emerged about the Tuesday bloody bank robberies that occurred in
Ondo State; it says that three banks, Firstbank, Skyebank and Ecobank were
successfully attacked and their vaults gleefully raided by heavily armed robbers
in army uniform.
According to source, the death toll has also increased from 15 to 18 and that the numbers of policemen slain are eight, not four. While most of the people killed were students, collecting money from ATM. Several people, including three policemen, were seriously injured in the coordinated attacks unleash by the robbers.
The bandits split into groups, with one attacking police station, to compel policemen to stay inside.
They used dynamites to blow open the banks and vaults.
