THROW BACK: ROBERT MUGABE & FIRST WIFE

Zimbabwe strong-man Papa Robert Mugabe, Born in 1924, has indeed had his fair share of leadership. He has ruled Zimbabwe since independence in 1980. At 91 years old Mugabe is the only person the people of Zimbabwe have know as President since independence.

Here is a photo of the nonagenarian while he was still youthful and apparently energetic at the age of 56. They two lovebirds met at the Takoradi Teachers Training College where they were both teaching and were married from 1961 until her death in 1992.

He has won successive elections although the international community has highly criticised his leadership style as being dictatorial.
