A 43- year old man , Ikechukwu Ekenta, a native of Ogwah in Mbaitolu L.G.A of Imo State, has been arrested for raping his 3- year- old daughter Kamsiyochukwu Ekenta.
According to reports, he raped her the day his wife, the girl’s mother went to the hospital to deliver her baby.
The rapist said he was carried away and pushed by an evil spirit 'Amadioha' to rape his daughter.
He said each time the spirit possessed him, he will start doing weird things. He also lied that he didn’t penetrate her, that he used his fingers in defiling her.
His wife Uzoamaka Ekenta, on her part revealed that after she came back from the hospital, she noticed her daughter was in pain while bathing and cleaning her private part.
She asked her daughter why she was in pain and the little girl explained to her in vivid details how her father raped her.
She said she immediately confronted her husband and he admitted committing the crime, but insisted he used his fingers. She said she took her daughter to the hospital, where it was confirmed that her hymen had been broken and he penetrated her with his p*nis and not with his fingers as he claimed.
She further revealed she complained to her husband’s parents and they threatened to deal with her if she dares to tell anyone.
She later confided in a friend, who reported the matter. He was immediately arrested with the help of Department Of State Service (DSS) and he will charged to court soon.
