EXCLUSIVE: HOW DIEZANI ALISON-MADUEKE LAUNDERED LOOTED MONEY...HER ACCOMPLICES REVEALED

Diezani Alison-Madueke , was last Friday, arrested by the International Corruption Unit of the British National Crime Agency (NCA) and four other suspects in London.

SaharaReporters has exclusively obtained intelligence documents and briefing on financial information regarding Mrs. Alison-Madueke’s loots.

An intelligence analyst with intimate knowledge of the ex-minister’s family and business network told SaharaReporters that UK investigators were focusing on several real estate properties in the United Kingdom. The source added that “[Diezani Alison-Madueke] was most likely aware that the Crown Prosecution [in the UK] was investigating her properties going back as early as 2013.”

How Alison-Madueke Looted Nigeria As Oil Minister:
Two of our sources said that the former Petroleum Minister acquired an astonishing sum of looted funds through shady dealings that included theft of kerosene subsidy payments, manipulation of fuel subsidy payments, so-called swap deals in which she used a number of personal and corporate fronts to sell Nigerian crude oil that was meant to be refined and brought back for local consumption, fraudulent acquisition of marginal oil fields and allocation of other lucrative oil field to fronts.

Our sources disclosed that Mrs. Alison-Madueke’s most daring fraudulent deals were her strategic partnership agreements with two respective companies officially owned by her most notorious fronts, Jide Omokore and Kola Aluko. The agreements were worth over $6 billion, according to one source. He added that another avenue of money laundering by the former minister was the controversial Malabu deal in which she, former Attorney General, Mohammed Adoke, and President Goodluck Jonathan may have pocketed close to $2 billion between them.

Our financial intelligence source said Mrs. Alison-Madueke was able to get away with her deals and schemes in the oil industry because she was “one of [former President] Jonathan’s money managers.” The same source pointed out that the Jonathan administration had designed the Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB) to give Mr. Jonathan and Mrs. Alison-Madueke “sweeping discretionary powers to award contracts, licenses, and leases for the Nigerian petroleum industry.”

Accomplices and Companies in Mrs. Alison-Madueke’s Orbit:
SaharaReporters learned that several key individuals helped the former minister to hide her loot. Two separate intelligence reports identified one Donald Chidi Amamgbo as a key figure in Mrs. Alison-Madueke’s money laundering activities.

Mr. Omokore, Mr. Aluko and Walter Wagbatsoma were also named as close collaborators in the former minister’s suspicious web of financial activities.
Mr. Aluko, who went from near-anonymity to become a flashy, high-flying and yacht-owning “entrepreneur,” was identified as a “money-launderer” for Mr. Jonathan and Mrs. Alison-Madueke.

Our source claimed that Mr. Aluko recently bought several real estate properties in Los Angeles and New York ranging between $8 million and $23 million. Recently, rap mogul, Jay Z, and his wife, BeyoncĂ©, spent their vacation on a $50 million yacht owned by Mr. Aluko.
According to our source, Mr. Aluko’s flamboyant lifestyle led Mr. Jonathan and Mrs. Alison-Madueke to decide to use more discreet fronts. Besides, the source added, Mr. Aluko also fell out with the former Petroleum Minister Diezani when he absconded with funds he was supposed to have laundered for her and the former president.

Mr. Aluko’s Atlantic Energy, formerly known as Atlantic Energy Drilling Concept Limited (AEDCNL), was one of the major corporate entities used to stash away the former minister’s looted funds. Mr. Aluko established the company in Zug, Switzerland, along with Nigerian national Temidayo Adeoye Okusame and British national Oscar Seda Mbeche.

In July 2015, SaharaReporters had published an investigative report that revealed connections between Mrs. Alison-Madueke, Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC), and Atlantic Energy. This website reported, “on July 19, 2010, Atlantic Energy Drilling Concept Limited (AEDCNL) was incorporated as a portfolio company,” adding that this was barely three months after Mrs. Alison-Madueke assumed office as the Minister of Petroleum Resources.

The report continued: “Atlantic Energy, even without prior record of successful experience in the oil and gas sector, announced that it had entered into a Strategic Alliance Agreement (SAA) with the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC) in April 2011. That was exactly six months before AEDCNL was legally born.”

One oil industry expert told SaharaReporters that there was widespread shock when Mrs. Alison-Madueke awarded an unknown company like Atlantic Energy a strategic agreement with the NPDC “without following any process as stipulated in the government procurement laws and policy.” The stated that oil industry operators knew that the deal between Atlantic Energy and the NPDC “was an unholy arrangement” between the former minister, top NPDC officials, Kola Aluko and Jide Omokore. He identified Mr. Omokore as a “controversial business mogul” and political financier.

According to a report published by the Natural Resource Governance Institute, Atlantic Energy had entered into strategic alliance deals with the NPDC for at least five oil blocks or oil mining leases.

Walter Wagbatsoma, also listed as a “money manager” for the former Petroleum Minister, runs several companies that investigators found to be entangled in Mrs. Alison-Madueke’s financial activities. An intelligence report discussing Mr. Wagbatsoma’s business dealings found that “he holds a private plane, said to be bought by [Mrs. Alison-Madueke], probably in 2011, in trust for the Petroleum Minister.”

However, Mr. Wagbatsoma is associated with a shadowy energy company named Ontario Oil and Gas, which trades Nigerian crude on international markets and whose directors are currently facing money-laundering trial in Nigerian courts. According to the Berne Declaration, an independent watchdog organization, Ontario Oil and Gas continues to export Nigerian crude despite accusations by the Nigerian government that the company misappropriated more than 4.2 billion naira—and arrests of the firm’s executives by the EFCC.

According to the company’s own website, it exports at least 2 million barrels of crude oil a month.
The Natural Resource Governance Institute reported that Ontario Oil and Gas, along with another company, Aiteo, saw “their shares of the Nigerian crude and products markets grow rapidly under the Jonathan government,” despite their very limited experience. The report also noted: “Ontario relied on a few foreign traders to take its [petroleum] allocation to market.”
Mrs. Alison-Madueke’s third accomplice, who was described as such in two separate intelligence reports leaked to SaharaReporters, is Donald Chidi Amamgbo. Mr. Amamgbo reportedly studied law at Howard University in Washington, DC at the same time Mrs. Alison-Madueke was studying there as a student of architecture. It is believed that they met each other in DC.

According to biographical information available in intelligence reports, in January 2012 Mr. Amamgbo was suspended from practicing law in California, where he relocated, for one year. However, his main focus seemed to have already turned to managing three companies under his ownership, specifically Tidax Energy, Mezcor SA, and Lynear SA.
Tradax, Mezcor, and Lynear are all based out of Geneva, Switzerland and all three are connected to a Portuguese national, Daniel Roy Joanes, and an American national, Richard Levinson. The Natural Resources Governance Institute characterized Tridax as an example of suspicious conduct because the firm’s “corporate structures stretch outside Nigeria.” The report found that Mr. Amamgbo owned 49% of Tridax with the remaining 51% of the ownership belonging to Tridax Oil domiciled in Switzerland. Further tracing the corporate structure of Tridax, it was revealed that 100% of it is owned by a sister company based in Malta, with 99% of that company owned by Calpenergy Fund in Gibraltar, with 67% of it owned in turn by Daniel Roy Joanes, with the remaining 33% owned by Turicum Private Bank also located in Gibraltar. This kind of circuitous ownership arrangement often typifies an attempt by a corporate entity’s real owners to hide their identities.

SaharaReporters obtained an intelligence report that stated, “Mezcor SA is clearly the lead company of the three run by Amamgbo.” Mr. Amamgbo also owns 49% of Mezcor, with the remaining 51% owned by Mr. Joanes and Mr. Levinson. Mr. Joanes, who previously worked as an asset manager for Clariden Leu, later worked for Bank Hapoalim. He also owns NFS Partners, which is co-located in the same office as Mezcor in Geneva.
Mr. Levinson is described in one report as having “a scandalous past” and has the dubious distinction of owning one of the first companies to be suspended by the US government for fraudulent activity during reconstruction after the Iraq War in 2003. According to the Wall Street Journal, “a [US] federal jury in Alexandria, VA found that Custer Battles [owned by Levinson] defrauded the US government of $3 million by filing faked invoices.”

US authorities later discovered that Mr. Levinson’s companies billed the American government $10 million for work estimated to actually cost only $4 million. In a curious corporate sleight of hand, Mr. Levinson sold Custer Battles to Danubia Global Inc., a company based in Bucharest, Romania, for one dollar. It turned out that he owned Danubia as well.

One intelligence investigation found that Mr. Levinson “acts as a director of the five companies [in which] Daniel Roy Joanes is also a director.”
According to another investigation, Tridax is a beneficiary of one of “38 contracts for 1,179,000 barrels per day crude lifting awarded by the [Nigerian] Federal Government last year.” The NNPC, which awards these contracts, also awarded a contract to Mezcor SA and two companies it worked with—India Oil Company and Fujairah Refinery.

These companies’ ties to Mrs. Alison-Madueke extend beyond questionable crude oil lifting contracts and her relationship with Mr. Donald Chidi Amamgbo. Investigators showed SaharaReporters documents that established that Timi John Agama, the former Petroleum Minister’s younger brother, has a financial stake and is a part owner of both Mezcor and Tridax.

The Madueke-Agama Family Business Network:
SaharaReporters has learned, from profiles of Mrs. Alison-Madueke’s sons, brothers, and nephews, that the family’s core businesses are suspiciously located at a single address: Unit 8, Quebec Buildings, Manchester M3 7DU in the United Kingdom. The main business is listed as Hadley Petroleum Solutions Ltd. But other corporate entities registered at the same location include Ryan and Bell Solutions Ltd., Callserv Ltd., Parrot Mobile Ltd., Mail Express Ltd., and Stone International Ltd.

All these companies are associated with close members of Mrs. Alison-Madueke’s family, including nephews Abu Fari, Abiye Agama, Somze Agama, and her son, Ugonna Madueke. According to one intelligence report, “key in the Diezani Alison-Madueke family business structure is her elder brother, Doye, who is a Pentecostal Archbishop based in Manchester, UK. SaharaReporters learned that in addition to his business activities with the Madueke-Agama family, Bishop Agama presides over the Apostolic Pastoral Congress located in Manchester, UK.

Before becoming part of the clergy in 1994, Mr. Doye Agama worked as a telecommunications consultant to the oil industry, central and local government and the emergency services.
Investigators told SaharaReporters that Mrs. Alison- Madueke owns a number of properties in the United Kingdom and the United States, under a variety of names, often those of her family. One property, located in London at 22 Parkwood, St. Edmunds Terrace, St John's Wood, London, NW8 7QQ is registered in the name of her mother, Beatrice Agama. Her younger brother, Timi John Agama, has a property registered under his name at 67, Wades Hill, Winchmore Hill, London, N21 1AU.

The former minister’s elder brother, Bishop Agama, has a property located at 27 Tavistock Square, Holburn, London, WC1H 9HH registered to his name.
Winihin Ayuli-Jemide, a younger sister to Mrs. Alison-Madueke, is active in organizing a series of conferences ostensibly to empower African women. Her seminars are called the Winihin Jemide Series. Curiously, her conferences and seminars are often held in cities like London and Vienna where her elder sister, Mrs. Alison-Madueke, is suspected to have business interests. The former minister was often invited to speak at the conferences.

In the United States, the former Petroleum Minister owns three properties that are registered under her maiden name, Diezani K. Agama. They include a posh apartment located at 1220 West Highway, Silver Spring, Maryland, with the zip code of 20910. Her son, Ugonna Madueke, has at least three properties registered in his name, two in Virginia and one in Maryland. The former minister’s son’s properties in Virginia are located at 11711 Scooter Lane, Fairfax, VA 22030, and 4227 Summit Manor Ct, Fairfax, VA 22033. His property in Maryland is at 13116 Silver Maple Ct, Bowie, MD 20715.

The former minister’s husband, Admiral Alison Amaechina Madueke, was Nigeria’s former Chief of Naval Staff. On retiring, Mr. Madueke went into the maritime services business, serving as the chairman or director of numerous companies, including Radam Maritime Services Ltd.

CHIEF OLU FALAE WAS NOT KIDNAPPED BY OUR MEMBERS.....FULANI CHIEFS

The Association of Fulani Chiefs and the Chariman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, Ondo State chapter, Bello Garba, said during a press conference in Lagos that Chief Olu Falae, was not kidnapped its members,

He said:
“We’ve been relating with security agencies and we have never had any issue with residents before. The disagreement with farmers has been ongoing for sometime but we have mediated and settled it on several occasions.
“Most of the Fulani people that came into Ondo came in as cattle breeders and you don’t expect them to just leave their animals and be kidnapping. We have been residing in Ondo State for more than 100 years and no one has ever accused us of any heinous crime in Ondo State or caught us with weapons.
“As an Ondo resident, I condemn this act. Clearly, this is impersonation. We live with our families in Ondo. How can we engage in such an act? We are pleading with law enforcement agents to do more investigation and expose the real perpetrators.”
The Sarkin Fulani of Lagos, Alhaji Mohammed Bambado, said it will not be in the interest of the Yoruba or Nigerians to denigrate cattle breeders at a time Nigeria was trying to diversify its economy and make agriculture more attractive.

He said:“Need we remind our brothers (Afenifere) of the African Union and ECOWAS charters that give people and animals, particularly, livestock free movement within and across international borders of West African states. Such calls and actions are in direct breach of a number of international treaties and obligations regarding the free movement of persons and animals.

“Banning the movement of cattle from one part of Nigeria to another also violates the constitution of Nigeria on the freedom of movement of people and livestock. It also amounts to ethnic profiling of the nomadic Fulani.”

He, however, called on the Afenifere that rather than call on the expulsion of Fulani hersdmen from the south-west, they should all join hands with them to find a lasting solution to the encroachment problem.

The Sarkin Fulani, Abeokuta, Alhaji Mohammed Kabir, who is also the Secretary, Association of Fulani Chiefs in the South-West, said the government needs to create grazing reserves for herdsmen so that they would stop encroaching on farmlands.

He added:
“We have appealed to the Federal Government and state governments in the South-West to help create grazing reserves.
“It is done in many advanced countries. When these things don’t exist, the herdsmen have to encroach for survival. Even before oil, we were doing this.
“God forbids that we will be importing all our cattle from overseas like our cars. This cattle rearing creates jobs for thousands if not millions of people. There is ranching in advanced countries but we can’t be ranchers because we can’t afford it.”

RISING PROFILE OF OLUSEGUN OBASANJO :CHAIRMAN OF WORLD EX-PRESIDENTS

Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo is the first African to have been appointed co-chair of theInterAction Council of Former Heads of State and Government during the 32nd annual plenary meeting in Newport, United Kingdom in June 2015.

He took over from Franz Vranitzky the former Chancellor of Austria who took away the position for his country between 1986 and1996 before he later became Chairman of World ex-Presidents in
1st July 2010. He served till June 2015.

It would be recalled that United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon had appointed former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo (GCFR) in 2008 as his Special Envoy on the Great Lakes region.
United Nations affirmed that "General Obasanjo is one of the most distinguished elder statesmen of Africa."

"He brings with him a long-standing commitment to peace on the African continent and an intimate knowledge of Central African politics.  He has been involved in a number of international mediation efforts, particularly in Namibia, Angola, South Africa, Mozambique and Burundi." according to United Nations.

Who is Obasanjo?
Read a brief section of his Biography
Olusegun Obasanjo served as President of Nigeria from May 1999 to May 2007. It was the culmination of a life spent on the front line of African politics. In 2008 he was appointed by the United Nations as a special envoy for Africa and has since overseen democratic elections on behalf of the African Union and Ecowas in countries across the continent. He has since emerged as an advocate for investment into the country and with the launch of his Foundation will tackle issues critical to advance across the Continent.

Obasanjo became President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 1999, following the demise of the military dictatorship of General Sani Abacha. After fifteen years of repressive rule that saw Nigeria slip into pariah status internationally, Obasanjo quickly emerged as the front-runner to lead the country’s historic transition back to democracy. He had suffered firsthand the brutality of the Abacha regime, having been imprisoned in 1995 on fabricated charges of plotting a coup to depose him.

Leadership was first thrust upon him in 13th February 1976 when he narrowly escaped an assassination attempt that killed Nigeria’s military ruler, Murtala Mohammed. As deputy he took over as head of state and vowed to restore civilian rule once the conditions for democracy were established. True to his word he gave way to Shehu Shagari , the winner of elections held in 1979, to date the only voluntary handover from military to civilian rule in Nigerian history.

Obasanjo’s elected term in office was characterized by a commitment to the rule of law, economic and political reform. He worked to rebuild institutions wrecked by decades of neglect, repression and mismanagement. This included the appointment of key, reform minded technocrats such as the finance minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and education minister Obiageli Ezekwesili – both internationally respected leaders in their fields.

Selecting Charles Soludo as Governor of the Central Bank paved the way for consolidation in the country’s banking sector, transforming it into one of the most dynamic industries on the continent. Liberalisation of the telecommunications sector has allowed Nigeria to become Africa’s largest and fastest growing markets for ICTs.

He created the country’s first Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, which secured in excess of 275 convictions, including high profile members of Nigeria’s elite, recovering a total of $5bn in assets. This was the first time in the country’s history that public officials were prosecuted for the misuse of state funds.

With high oil prices, Obasanjo’s government oversaw a doubling of Nigeria’s average economic growth rate to 6 per cent.Foreign reserves rose from $3.7 billion in 1999 to $45 billion in 2007. Sound economic stewardship helped Obasanjo secure $18 billion in debt relief from Western creditors and his government used burgeoning state revenues to pay down a further $12 billion in dues leaving Nigeria almost debt free.

He is also a role model for the youth of Africa. He established the African Leadership Forum, which organises workshops advocating African solutions to African problems through better leadership, state capacity building and the encouragement of private enterprise. The Presidential Library complex he is building in his home town of Abeokuta will be the first of its kind in Africa – an enduring testament to his leadership, and a model for the rest of the continent.

Outside of Nigeria he has been central in the regeneration and repositioning of the African Union. Together with former South African president Thabo Mbeki he lead the creation of the African Peer Review Mechanism designed to engender and promote the ideals of democracy and good governance, and the New Partnership for Africa’s Development.

After serving his country for eight years and restoring the respect of its continental peers and the international community, Obasanjo stepped down in 2007. His role as Africa’s ambassador-at-large has continued..

In 2008 he was appointed special Envoy on the Great Lakes region by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, and continues to be an integral actor in mediation efforts in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. Obasanjo has also served as the African Union’s Special Envoy for Togo’s 2010 Presidential elections, as well as South Africa’s presidential polls in 2009.

As the Special Envoy for ECOWAS, his role in diffusing the crisis that threatened civil war in Cote D’Ivoire 2011 was vital. When democracy was once again threatened in Senegal during controversial presidential polls in March 2012, he promptly led the joint African Union and Ecowas mission to resolve the standoff, paving the way for a smooth transition and pulling one of Africa’s oldest democracies back from the brink.

Outside the political arena Obasanjo has been a catalyst in driving Africa’s economic transformation. The region is now amongst the fastest growing in the world, rapidly becoming the destination of choice for international investors looking to emerging and frontier markets. Using his experience as a successful farmer and businessman in Nigeria he is actively engaging this community to facilitate more investment into the continent. Obasanjo will achieve this vision through the Africa Investment Council (AIC) a platform of distinguished leaders working to provide advocacy, thought-leadership, collaboration and best-practices on sustainable investment into Africa. He is presently an advisor to New World Capital; an investment advisory firm providing interested parties with market access, investment advisory and co-investment opportunities across the continent.
President Obasanjo is also Founder of the Olusegun Obasanjo Foundation, a UK based charity that has a mission of advancing Human Security for All. The Foundation has wide ranging initiatives of Feeding Africa, Youth Empowerment, Education for Girls and a health initiative focused on non-communicable and water borne diseases.
As Africa assumes an increasingly central role in international policy and business the continent will continue to have an unwavering advocate in Obasanjo.

President Mohammadu Buhari who emerged winner of the 2015 general election had recently sent ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo as envoy to the African state of  Guinea Bissau.
Here is the list of the World Presidents.

MADNESS: MAN SENTENCED TO 425 YEARS FOR RAPING 17 GIRLS IN 24 HOURS !

Jobulani Mlombo, 50, was on October 2nd, sentenced to 17 life imprisonment for raping 17 girls at his initiation school in Mpumalanga, South Africa. He was found guilty of raping the girls, who were between the ages of 9 and 17 years, within the space of 24 hours in August in 2012! The sentences, taken together, amount to 425 years.

According to Times Live, SA police spokesperson Leonard Hlathi said:

"The couple enrolled 21 girls, aged between nine and 17 during winter in 2012. In the initiation school, Mlombo raped and sexually assaulted the initiates on 29 August 2012."

Mlombo’s wife, Mapalase Khosa, was also handed a 21-year sentence, suspended for three years, for two counts of assault and one count of assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm.

The girls testified that Khoza’s wife would wake them up at the initiation school and lead them into a dark room, where they were smeared with muthi and raped. They said they were told that this was "The Big Initiation" and that they would go mad if they ever told anyone.

WAKAJUGBE: WELCOME TO APAPA 'BUSINESS CITY IN THE MORNING-SODOM AND GOMORRAH AT NIGHT' (9)

Apapa is a Lagos suburb, it’s the home of Nigeria’s two seaports, Apapa Wharf and Tin-Can Island ports respectively. Unarguably, Apapa is the economic hub of the nation’s economy.

With this high volumes of economic activities such as import and export as well as other economic activities  in this place, its attracted large number of people from all walks of life. People from different races, nationalities and ethnicities engage in all kinds of economic activities ranging from clearing and forwarding of goods, buying and selling of different kinds of imported goods, among others, on a daily basis.

Fastforward, just like other cities in other countries of the world where seaports are located, there are also the good, the bad and the ugly. Seamen,  men  and women who do businesses in these seaports and environs, naturally, would want to relax their nerves after a hectic day’s business. And the natural places to go for such relaxation are where women of easy virtues exchange sex for money in clubs, brothels, especially those clubs where women dance half-naked.

This is how Apapa earned a place in the league of red light street cities beat Ojuelegba’s 42 Avenue, Ikeja cum Allen, and Festac town to background. As from 8:00pm, it will automatically change from business city and turned  to ‘Sodom and Gomorrah.’

When Saturday Sun reporters visited such places as Domino’s Pizza on Wharf road and the surrounding streets as well as Bakery Crescent, a lot of activities had started as early as 7:00pm. A journey inside most of the adjoining streets, off Wharf roads, would bring one face to face with a handful of brothels with women of all shapes and sizes displaying their arsenals to willing customers. While some are so matured that they would rather employ non-verbal cues such as eye movements, tongue twisting, wriggling of various Ghana-made buttocks, display of extra-large boobs as well as twisting of thighs to leave one in wild imagination of what could lie between such thighs; others go for what they want directly without beating about the bush. They would beckon at the men, whom they suspect were there to patronize them. Such rabid invitation was equally extended copiously to our male reporter, who was merely rambling on the street to observe them in their natural habitat.

Besides, there were groups of men at different points engaged in one activity or the other, some were gambling with ‘Ludo’or ‘Whort.’ others were smoking all kinds of marijuana and Indian hemp at the same time drank local made gin (Ogogoro). Few others held on to bottles of beer, probably, waiting for darkness to completely envelope the day before they would join the fray.

On hand to service both the ladies and their customers were drug sellers, who displayed their wares on wheel barrows. They have various aphrodisiacs, which both men and women consume before embarking on sex escapades. Such strong aphrodisiacs as Viagra are carelessly seen on display.and condoms of assorted kinds.Dont forget that  there would always be petty robbers and pick-pockets in such environment.

According to a resident on Bakery Street, who simply gave his name as John, the peace of the neighborhood is always under threat following the activities of sex workers and their patrons. He cited a fresh case to drive home his point. He said: “Some cases like that are common and cannot be wished away. For instance, there was this incident involving one lady called Ada and her customer, also called Seun. It was Ada’s loud cry that abruptly woke us up from sleep. At first, we thought that armed robbers had invaded the building. We were fidgeting and panting so much that we almost wetted our panties.

“Our hearts were still palpitating when we heard a screaming voice of a female saying, ‘Pay me my money. I say, pay me my money. You f*ck me and now you no wan pay. Shebi, you wan kill me; Oya kill me now.”

Continuing, John said: “But, Seun did not fret over the display of such madness as he seemed to have been used to it. In a voice filled with anger, he shouted at the lady saying, ‘I go just kill you here and nothing go happen. I go beat you again. Oya, leave my shorts.”

It was at this point, according to John that he signaled to his family members to crawl out of their hiding places, since it was not armed robbers as they had thought. “The incident,” he said: “happened around 2:00am.” He also said that when they eventually went outside, they were surprised to discover that the lady in question was totally naked and still insisting that her full entitlements must be paid.

John added, “When we went outside, we saw the girl stark naked. She was pretty, fair complexioned and tall with her boobs succulently standing firm. She had a clean shave. Even as we all stared at her in shock, she didn’t bat an eye-lid, instead she held tightly to the man. The man wore a pair of boxers.”

Investigation revealed that such occurrences are commonplace in the area. Most of the girls, our reporters gathered, converge on the area from different parts of Lagos, especially from Ajegunle, Orile, Ijora Badia, Ebute-Meta, Oshodi and Festac among other places.

A road-side food vendor, simply identified as Mama Bukky  also said: “We hear gory and shameful tales of sex scandals around this place often. For me, once I finish selling my food, I go but we still get to hear what goes around in our absence somehow. For instance, there was a story of one man last week. His name is Kayode. He is married with kids somewhere in Abeokuta, but works in Lagos while his family stays in Abeokuta. He was said to have felt horny that fateful night and he decided to go for a call girl. He went to a brothel close to our area and got the lady.

“According to the lady, the man went several rounds with her, including asking for a blowjob and doggie style, which she gladly offered. But, when it was time to pay, the man refused to honour the gentleman’s agreement. She was naturally furious and she refused to leave without collecting her money. So, she started making noise and in order to shut her up, Kayode attempted to throw her down from the second floor where he lives. This was after he had beaten her silly. But, she was saved by the high pitch of her voice as people rushed to her rescue. The lady said the deal was sealed at N2, 000, but the man refused to pay”

The illustrations above are just a tip of the iceberg. However, the lady’s encounter with Kayode is just one out of many instances, where the girls are thrown into the water or killed and dumped by the road side without any trace of the perpetrators.

THE VATICAN DISMISSES A GAY PRIEST

The Vatican dismissed a priest from his post in a Holy See office today Saturday Oct. 3rd after he told a newspaper he was gay and urged the Catholic Church to change its stance on homosexuality, Reuters reports. Monsignor Krzystof Charamsa was removed from his position at the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith, the Vatican's doctrinal arm where he had worked since 2003, a statement said.

Charamsa, 43, and a Polish theologian, announced he was gay and had a partner in a long interview with Italy's Corriere della Sera newspaper on Saturday. He later held a news conference with his partner, a Spanish man, and gay activists at a Rome restaurant.

They had planned a demonstration in front of the Vatican but changed the venue several hours before it was due to have started. The Vatican said Charamsa's dismissal had nothing to do with his comments on his personal situation, which it said “merit respect”.

But it said giving the interview and the planned demonstration was “grave and irresponsible” given their timing on the eve of a synod of bishops who will discuss family issues, including how to reach out to gays. It said his actions would subject the synod, which Pope Francis is due to open on Sunday, to “undue media pressure”.

The issue of homosexuality and the Church has dominated the aftermath of the pope's visit to the United States last week. In Saturday's interview, Charamsa said his partner had helped him come to terms with his sexuality and knew he would have to give up the priesthood, although the Vatican statement made no reference to this outcome.

"It's time for the Church to open its eyes about gay Catholics and to understand that the solution it proposes to them - total abstinence from a life of love - is inhuman," he was quoted as saying. The Catholic Church teaches that homosexuality is not a sin but that homosexual acts are.

The Vatican has been embarrassed by controversy over the pope's meeting with Kim Davis, a Kentucky county clerk who went to jail in September for refusing to honour a US Supreme Court ruling and issue same-sex marriage licenses. The Vatican said on Friday that “the only real audience” the pope had during his visit to Washington was with a small group that included a gay couple.

CRIME: NIGERIAN MAN SENTENCED TO 12 YEARS FOR LOVE SCAM & FRAUD IN VIETNAM

Oshanugo James Anyasi, 35, was sentenced to 12 years in jail Tuesday, September 29 ,by a Hanoi court, for two separate fraud convictions, including one for pretending to love women and conning them out of money and cyber fraud for appropriating other people’s assets.

The love con involved three others, including a Vietnamese woman who is serving a 3-year sentence and two other Nigerian men, the alleged masterminds, are still at large.

The four met each other in September 2012 and decided to cheat Vietnamese women by hooking up with them online, pretending to become their lovers and promising them expensive gifts, then faking phone calls and emails from customs and shipping agencies to ask them to transfer shipping fees to certain accounts.

Investigators found they had stolen more than 400 million (US$17,800) from 10 women. Anyasi got 15 percent for playing the role of an English businessman and chatting with the women, the Vietnamese got 10 percent, and the other two, reportedly based in Malaysia, took the rest.

WHY I LIVE APART FROM MY HUSBAND...RONKE OSHODI OKE

Nollywood star Ronke Oshodi Oke in a chat with Saturday Beats has explained the reason why she lives apart from her husband etc.etc.etc. This is what she says:

“Personally, I don’t like places that are noisy. If you live in certain places in Lagos, everybody would know your movement. I don’t like such places. I try to keep my life private. I don’t want people to know where my children school or any other private information about me. But my husband works in Surulere and he loves the area a lot. I don’t like the area. We have a family house there, so he stays there on weekdays and during the weekend, he comes home to meet me at Abule-Egba. I have been in that area for a very long time and it is very quiet. That is why we live separately. Continue...

“Whatever people say, I really don’t care because I believe in pleasing myself. The same people that would advise you are the same people that would criticise you when things go wrong. I have developed a thick skin. Nothing is perfect in life and my marriage is okay. I am happy,” she said.

She also explains what she does when her husband misses her when she is on a movie set;

“Sometimes when I have spent so much time on set and my husband misses me, he does not make a big fuss about it because he knows it is my job. He would just call me to come home. And whenever I know I am wrong or I have been away from him for too long, I apologise. Most times, even before he calls me to tell me that I have not been home for too long, I caution myself and go to spend some weeks with him. If I find out that he is very mad at me, I know how to calm him down. Every man has a weak spot and every woman knows how to make her man happy. Whenever he is really upset with me, I cook his favourite meal and I also make it up to him in the bedroom,” Oshodi-Oke said.

'I BID YOU FAREWELL'...EPISTLE OF A DYING WOMAN NEGLEGTED BY HER HUSBAND

Mrs.Omodolapo Yetunde Olotu-Jagha(1971-2013)
I bid you farewell…………………………………………..
I am grateful to God that I will rest in His bosom and I am more grateful because I have always wanted this opportunity to speak my mind even unto death. I guess you are surprised that even the dead can air an opinion; in my case I really wanted to because I knew that God was preparing a place for me and that is where I will be.  Do not weep for so long because I found eternal peace in Him. The very peace that has eroded me in about twelve years of my God given years (at the time of this writing I am forty-one years of age and I have been married for twelve years). This is my story………

I am Yetunde nee Olotu as I am fondly called by my immediate family in Nigeria but here I am being referred to as Omodolapo Jagha as named by the love of my life.  Now, I  am Dolapo GoodGod , the surname I adopted when I realized that I no longer have a husband who will be there for me. The very man I should expect to be the Master of ceremony at my burial, the man you think would miss my departure the most but unfortunately not. I believe my estranged husband is glad that he is now free from the bondage called marriage.

Noble Jagha, I hope you feel so happy now that your prophesy to Maryam Hassan and other girlfriends of yours that I will soon die so you can marry them is now fulfilled. The truth is that my body may be dead but my hope of glory in heaven is constant as God lives. I may not be here again but I am so sure you will never find anyone to love you the way I did…… You were my first love, the very man who deflowered me but turned his back on me years after that I was not good on bed  (not sexy enough for you), I was not good at cooking but I managed to learn and cook your local meal of Starch and Banga. He said, “I was so paranoid” because I complained that you are only comfortable making phone calls in the car and returning home at midnight. You finally abandoned me and the children in December, 2012 after all the mental and physical abuse I suffered from you.

You could not face the wrath of law as I got a safety and protection order against you because I was afraid that you would eventually take my life. While you lived with us, you were of no use, as you were not readily available to do your matrimonial and fatherly duties.  How painful it was to take the twins to school walking all the way from Ongar to Little Pace, sometimes after getting a chemo. Even when I pleaded with you to look after the kids when I have appointments at the hospital you refused. Thank God for the Irish government (HSE) that provided me with home help (Margaret), my cousin,  grandma Odelade,  Sola and S. Bimbo (my wonderful sisters in church), my friend, confidant  (Gbemi)  who stuck to me like a sister, she is known in all our kids’ school as their guardian because you were not there. You found solace in your numerous, “your attraction” as you referred to the choir leader and probably your new sizzling romance Sheila Luxembor whom you kept my kids with without my consent. I hope she told you I rang her and made peace with her when I did no wrong (Yeah, I did this to secure my heaven).
Hhhhmmmm……….the Lord is my strength.

Oti, how do you feel after physically and mentally tormenting me? You can now be happy that “the living corpse” (as you often referred to me) in your home has finally gone to be with God. You no longer have to hit me or pounce on me anymore. In death I have forgiving you because I loved you but I hope you are able to forgive yourself…….? I cannot forget in a minute how I felt so let down that I took to my heels and sought refuge in that sister’s place and later on at the women’s refuge. I am sure your defense is that I died as a cancer patient but I believe I could live a day longer if you were there for me……  I went through the pains of Cancer lonely! Rather than supporting, you rejected me. Isn’t marriage meant to be for better or for worse.….? I hope when I remember how childish you were for taking the boot you bought for me and returning the wrist watch I bought for you I can peacefully sigh a relief for leaving this cruel world. You were so mean to me! Oti, you were really mean to Emmanuella too. How could you ill-treat your own children because they are girls? I have all the horrible text messages you sent to me documented; psychologically you killed me before my death.

Pastor Jagha, a man of God! The church has failed in their duty to help you from fallen, they have pampered you for doing wrong in order to save their face and invariably they have failed me. Church is meant for sinners irrespective of their position and as such no one should be above chastising. I hope after my demise our father in the Lord would have enough evidence to correct the wrong of my beloved husband. No wonder my so-called husband was able to trick the church who also lured me to take off the safety and protection order and stop me from getting a separation that I so long for. On my dying bed I made copies of telephone bills showing his immoral communication with a worker in the church  at Athlone but there was still no sufficient evidence……… The church that should be a place of refuge became a place of torment for me. I hope you can also enjoy your new relationship with Sheila, I learnt you told some of your church members that I asked her to look after my kids because I was sick in the hospital whereas  she keeps malice with me just because of your sex romp with her. Oti, you left my children at home for two days and went to sleep with your girl friend in Athlone. You also asked my under-aged children to travel on bus to Athlone by themselves while I was on the hospital bed. I loved you but you failed me and you know it.

The bitter pill that I have to swallow is the fact that I can no longer be there for my lovely girls .Their beloved father despised them so because I could not make a male child (you claimed that I was unable to have a boy child because I did not drink from the anointing oil which you asked me to drink and that makes you detest me too). I am deeply sorry that I did not drink it; maybe that would have spared me of some lashes.  Our lovely first daughter at age twelve said, “Mummy I don’t think I will get married” This is as a result of the abuse that my child suffered from our marriage… If you are a loved one and you know my daughter, please help me say to her that marriage is to be enjoyed and not endured….. I want her to be married and make me proud!

Oti, why do you always run away from your problems rather than resolving them?  You left Nigeria because of your involvement in fraud at the bank which you never resolved.  As I speak you owe my mother a sum of one million, two hundred thousand naira which you have no plan to repay.  How come you had issues even with your own sibling in the U.K to such an extent that you poisoned her…..?  That is the more reason why I was so scared for my life.   You are such a difficult person, the community welfare officer , our GP, Olive at Hartstown , the Child protection unit at Finglas and our father in the Lord tried their best to advise you to no avail. You were not ready to make me happy.

Noble Jagha, you wanted me dead as soon as possible.  I still wonder why you refused to come with me for separation times and again when I asked that we should part ways. I know your intent may be to make gains from my years of labour at Anpost. I worked so hard to pay the rent, to feed us and even paid some of your fees to pursue your MBA. Despite all my effort you were never satisfied, even on my sick bed you demanded for money…..I hope you are happy that you have them all and you can feed your numerous girlfriends with them.  I plead with you and I besiege all that reads this to appeal to you that you do the following after my demise which is of utmost importance (I hope you will heed advice for once).
1.       That you may put in trust/fixed deposit for my daughters all monies raised from my burial and benefits from my workplace having paid all expenses incurred and other personal loan taking from my friends during my period of illness. My daughters need to know I care for them even in my grave.
2.       That, I have a will in which I have named the executors to my will and joint custodians of our children. The lawyer will keep you posted in due course, please adhere!
3.       Oti you can also pay any money that you owe from the monies before the account is opened.
4.       Kindly pay my mother the money you owe her too before the account is fixed.
5.       I want my mother to be a part of my children’s life, please don’t deprive her.
6.       Oti  make peace with my family and friends (stop making enemies out of the people that helps me).

Oti, it may surprise you but I have to let you know that I have the password to your facebook account and email accounts!  How come I am not on your friend list? Why did you also refuse to tell me the cause of your mother’s death? I know she died of cancer! Hmmmm
Oti does not love me; he could not stay with me in sickness despite the fact that I loved him more than my children. Hhmmmm

I hope my mother can forgive me for not heeding her advice in respect of my choice of marriage and I pray that God gives her and my father the fortitude to bear this irreparable lost.
It is too late to cry when the head is off.
Thank you for not leaving me alone in my time of troubles and needs my sisters, thank you sister for going to Olive’s school, please follow up with Emmanuel as planned, I don’t want my children to suffer. I am so worried …..I am tired.

I don’t want you people to go, don’t leave me alone. I want someone to sleep here with me tonight.
signed.

SHOCKING:BOY STABBED WITH SCISSORS BY TEACHER ON HIS FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Tyreece Wedderburn, was just three hours into his first day school for troubled children in Wolverhampton, when another pupil ran around the classroom with a pair of scissors threatening to stab other pupils.

A female teacher is said to have grabbed the scissors and accidentally stabbed Tyreece in the arm while she tried to fend off the out-of-control pupil.

Tyreece was rushed to hospital after the incident at New Park School in Cromer Gardens, Whitmore Reans, where he received five stitches to a three-inch wound to his upper left arm.

Miss Stuart, 34, from Wednesfield said: “I was panicking about sending him there in the first place because when we went to look around it was chaos. The kids were completely out of control, running around fighting and swearing at the teachers.

“I’m angry and devastated over what’s gone on. To send your kid to school and have him get stabbed is something that no parent should have to go through.”

She added: "The teacher was trying to the scissors off this boy and he was abusive towards her.
"When she got the scissors off him, the boy was racist to Tyreece and ran over towards him. The teacher then ran over and had stabbed Tyreece.
"She wasn't holding the scissors properly. She was holding them with the blade outwards.

"I am not very happy with the school. They haven't even apologised for this." The teacher has now been suspended and the school has launched an investigation into the incident.
West Midlands Police has also spoken to the school and family.

A spokesman for Wolverhampton council said: "We are fully aware of an incident which occurred at New Park School on Friday.
"A member of staff has been suspended without prejudice pending the outcome of the independent investigation currently underway.”

JANET JACKSON: NEW ALBUM 'UNBREAKABLE'...THE SECRETS BEHING THE SONGS

After a tumultuous decade in which her brother, Michael, died; seven years away from the studio, years her music was banned by some US radio stations after a Super Bowl "wardrobe malfunction". Janet Jackson releases a ‘bang‘new album, ‘Unbreakable ‘on Friday.

Unbreakable feels like a response to those events, as well as some happier ones, in particular Jackson's 2012 marriage to Qatari businessman Wissam Al Mana.

Over 17 tracks, the singer talks about grief and depression, but also about love, loyalty and compassion. Most importantly, she stresses, friends will pull you through the hard times.

She's always stayed away from anything like her brothers' [music] but we really felt like that this was appropriate. Particularly on a song like Broken Hearts Heal - which is a song directly about her brother, and them growing up together. Jimmy Jam, reveals.

Gon' B Alright squeaked onto the album at the last minute. We really had a tough time recording it - maybe two or three attempts.

Interestingly enough, Janet actually does all the vocals - all the high voices and the low ones - with a little tape trickery and Janet singing in different voices and different characters.
We thought it was a great way to end the album - on a note of optimism. I think the record is everything she wanted it to be. So I hope people are accepting of it and enjoy it.

COLOMBIAN KILLS MOST WANTED DRUG KING PIN

One of Colombia's most wanted drug lords has been killed in government air strikes on the mountain jungle region of Catatumbo. The US had offered a $5m reward for his capture.
Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos said Victor Navarro, also known as "Megateo", died in bombing attacks .

Victor Navarro, was also the leader of a remnant faction of the leftist guerrilla group the EPL.
The EPL disbanded 16 years ago but Navarro is believed to have pushed the band into cocaine trafficking so that they could procure weapons.

In a magazine interview more than a year ago, he denied he was a drug trafficker but he admitted that he had collected "a tax on cocaine" so as to "finance the war".
Navarro was also known for his fondness for garish weapons-themed jewellery and the branding of underage young lovers with a tattoo of his face.
