MAN OF GOD: A PASTOR ARRESTED FOR DEFRAUDING FOUR MEMBERS IN LAGOS

A Pastor in Lagos, named Chibuzor Nnaegbo, is currently  detained by the operatives of Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Yaba, for allegedly defrauding four businessmen in Lagos.

Pastor Chibuzor Nnaegbo, while confessing to the crime, said:

“My problem started while I was pastoring a church in Onitsha; I read a book written by Bishop Oyedepo on how to sow seed. After reading the book I sold all the church properties and sowed the proceeds in another church.

“When I relocated to Lagos, I started collecting money from people, deceiving them that I am in Israel. I told them that I had issues trying to set up a church and needed money to grow the ministry.

“I used all the money I collected from them to sow seed in Redemption camp. I collected N1.9 million from one of the victims, N1.255 million from another, N2.5 million from the third and N900,000 and a Toyota Camry from the fourth victim. I sowed the Camry as seed in Winners Chapel in Otta.

“I was arrested through my younger brother who I sent to collect money from one of the victims, unknown to me that he had discovered that he was being defrauded and had reported to Ilemba Divisional Police, and they arrested me.

“Concerning the porn videos that were found in my phone, I watch the pornography videos on my phone whenever I have sexual urge because I don’t have sexual intercourse with women”.

The case which was transferred from Ilemba Divisional Police to Area K command, is currently being investigated at the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Yaba.

NIGERIANS MUST NOT DIE FOR MEDIOCRE PERFORMER...OBJTALKS

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo urged Nigerians not to die for a mediocre performer, and said he maintains the statement credited to him of his endorsement of APC presidential candidate, General Muhammad Buhari. He made the statement during the launch of his book, ‘My Watch’, in London today.In his own words OBJ said...........

"What I said and I maintain that and I will say it again and I will do it. When the time comes for me to vote, I will consider the track record of all the candidates that are contesting and I will assess and based on my assessment for who I believe have the best track record to perform the job of the Nigerian president, then he will have my vote and if anybody should know what the job of the Nigerian president requires, I should know.

"And there is no sentiment in the affairs of Nigeria. Nigeria is a population of 180million and you wouldn't have anybody other than one person or two persons that can run the affairs of Nigeria? What the hell are we talking about? For me there are millions who can run the affairs of Nigeria that are not even coming out. So why should you die on behalf of one who is probably performing as a mediocre. With all due respect. Nigeria, if you love it, you would look for the best for Nigeria and I don't believe that at this point in time we have the best" he said

DIANA ROSS SAYS SHE IS NOT LEAVING ANYTHING TO HER KIDS....DAUGHTER

Actress Tracee Ellis Ross, said in the March issue of Essence magazine that her mother, legendary Diana Ross, didn't treat her and her siblings as if they had a silver spoon.

"I understand how extraordinary my childhood was, and that my mother’s gift and all of the people who’ve loved her [have afforded me] the opportunities I have," she told the magazine. "I also had a really great mom. We had a lot, and as much as I knew that everybody didn’t live that way, she didn’t raise us with a sense of entitlement."

COSTA CONCORDIA CAPTAIN SENTENCED TO 16 YEARS FOR MANSLAUGHTER..

The captain of the capsized Costa Concordia cruise ship, Francesco Schettino, whom told the court called “reckless idiot", was convicted and sentenced Wednesday to 16 years and one month in prison for manslaughter, causing the 2012 shipwreck that claimed 32 lives and abandoning the luxury liner while many passengers and crew were still aboard.

The three-judge panel handed down 10 years for 32 counts of manslaughter, five years for causing the Jan. 13, 2012, shipwreck when the Concordia rammed a reef near Giglio island, and one year for abandoning the ship while many of the luxury liner's 4,200 passengers and crew were still aboard during a chaotic, delayed evacuation.

The court added a month to the sentence for Schettino's downplaying the gravity of the problem in his communications with maritime authorities. Schettino wasn't present when Judge Giovanni Puliatti read out the verdict in a Grosseto theater, as is his right under Italian law.

His lawyer, Domenico Pepe, expressed some satisfaction that the court gave Schettino 10 years less than prosecutors demanded, but said "16 years are a lot." Pepe said he would appeal the decision. His lawyers said they hadn't yet spoken by phone with the defendant.

In court earlier Wednesday, the former captain told the court earlier he was being "sacrificed" to safeguard the economic interests of his employer and broke down in sobs immediately before the panel began deliberating.

Schettino said the verdict "should have involved an entire organization and instead sees me as the only defendant." "My head was sacrificed to serve economic interests," the 54-year-old Neapolitan seaman said, unable to finish his statement.

The court, which also barred him from operating as a ship's captain for five years, rejected prosecutors' request that Schettino be immediately arrested, saying he had participated in the trial and didn't pose a flight risk. In Italy, defendants have two levels of appeals and sentences don't begin being served until those appeals are exhausted.

BUHARI HAPPY ABOUT OBASANJO'S PUBLIC ENDORSEMENT

APC presidential candidate General Muhammadu Buhari reacted to former president Obasanjo publicly endorsing him. When asked by CNN’s Christiane Amanpour how he felt about it, Buhari said:

"I am happy about it. It means more supporters and more confidence for those still sitting on the fence. He's well respected. No serious issue can happen (in Nigeria) without people seeking his opinion and listening to it"

A FOOTBALLER KILLED HIS GIRL FRIEND WHEN FOUND OUT HE WAS BORN MALE !!!

 Carlton Ray Champion Jr., 21, Texas college football player, has been charged with the murder of Ty Underwood, 24yr old transgender woman who was killed on January 26^th.

Police first caught a break in the case when Ty's roommate, Kedrick Darks, told police Underwood had been dating a man named “Carlton” for several weeks prior to her death. Police say they interviewed Champion, who confirmed that he had been communicating via a service called “Kik” with Underwood, who was going by “Tyra” on the service. They were able to search Champion’s tablet computer and allegedly discovered communications between Champion and Underwood dating back to January 19, 2015.

“After reading the text between Champion, Jr. and Underwood, it was clear that the two have had sexual relations with each other,” one detective wrote. The investigation revealed a series of messages between Champion and Underwood on January 25 in which Underwood was angry with Champion for initially agreeing to meet in person that night and then backing out. Underwood sent a message saying she no longer wanted to see Champion, to which he allegedly responded: "That’s how it is now, I will make it up.”

After that, there was allegedly some additional conversation about where and how they would meet, the conversation makes it appear they were to meet on 25th street. The investigators also obtained surveillance video allegedly depicting Champion exiting his dorm early on the morning of January 26 following the Kik conversation.

They say Champion met up with Ty - and when he found out he was born a male, Champion allegedly killed him.

One of the detectives interviewed Champion’s father and wrote “[Champion’s father] stated that Carlton Jr. was meeting [Underwood] and thought [Underwood] was female. According to [Champion’s father], Carlton Jr. was supposed to get some type of sexual favor from [Underwood] but realized [Underwood] was a male.”

Additionally, investigators say Champion’s jacket worn at the time of the murder tested positive for blood in a preliminary test that’s too basic to determine whose blood was

BILLIONAIRE ACCUSED OF STEALING $118 MILLION TO BUILD MANSSION

Brooklyn-born Billionaire Ira Rennert, 80, is accused of looting one of his companies out of $118 million in the late 1990s — or more than $600 million now, including interest — forcing the business into bankruptcy and using the funds to build a 100,000-square-foot compound ‘Hamptons estate’. 

The 62,000-square-foot main house has 29 bedrooms, 39 bathrooms, a 164-seat theater and a 100 car garage. The main house is adjacent to a 10,000-square-foot “playhouse” with two bowling alleys, a squash court and billiards room, amongst other amenities.

The sorry details of the fate of MagCorp, a polluting magnesium producer that went bankrupt in 2001, would be unlikely to generate quite so much interest on their own.

Rennert is the founder of Renco Group, a private holding company that Vanity Fair once called “the biggest private polluter in America.” Forbes put Rennert’s net worth at $6.3 billion.

Rennert’s lawyers say MagCorp failed due to the recession, but was in fine shape when it floated bonds that financed millions in dividends that went to Rennert.
