UPDATES: "I DID NOT KILL MY HUSBAND"~~~WIFE OF US VETERAN CHUKS OKEBATA REVEALS (PHOTOS)

 Late Chuks Okebata's (Read here) wife has reacted to the damaging videos making the rounds that she killed her US  Army veteran husband , in her own her side of  her story as told to Amanda Chisom below;

"My own side of the story

Amanda , I once came to you about my husband and his incessant abuse and cheating. Yes I am the wife of the man who was assassinated, and I am just distraught. I do not even know where to start but it is only right I tell my own side of the story. I am innocent, God is my witness that I did not kill my husband or the evil that my husband’s family is portraying me to be, yes my sister in-law posted that video to make me look evil but the part she did not tell anybody was that I was calling the police to save me because he always beat me up and I was told to call the police whenever he started and that was exactly what I was doing, from the video you would see that I did not fight him or answered him. Should I have allowed him to kill me?

Amanda, we have been married for 13 years since I was 19, it has been beating upon beating, I have gone through surgeries because of beating he gave me. How can I kill my husband, we live together, till the day he left for Nigeria, I packed his things , how could I kill him. Who do I know to order a hit on the father of my children? I have no interest in his properties as suggested after all we built every thing together. God knows I am innocent. He went to Nigeria and was going to club spraying dollars and showing off, revealing his locations . They want to pin my husband’s death on me, my husband was not assassinated. He was kidnapped, because he is a military man he is always with a gun and when he shot to death one of thekidnappers, they shot him. Why is my family leaving out information about what happened and pinning it on me?

I never threatened him to kill him, I am a working woman with a paying job and have no reason to kill him because of properties . All I just want is peace to mourn and raise my children. You can confirm my story from those people in my home town. My husband was careless in a country with high rate of crime and was kidnapped, if he had not shot one of the robbers all we would have been talking about is paying ransom not death. Amanda why would I kill the father of my kids, why would I choose his death over a divorce if things were that bad. I have two boys, who will help me raise them? I am completely innocent of all the allegations. I have endured all this years through his beating and cheating and I did not leave or kill him, why would I do it now? All I ask is that I am left to mourn in peace and the killers found and prosecuted.

Nne biko help me

I’m an innocent victim here

I love my husband and I’m still in tears
I’m mourning him and people are accusing them wrongly. My children are crying daily."

The gunman suspected of killing 39 people during a New Year’s attack on an Istanbul nightclub has been caught in a police operation on Tuesday.

The suspect identified as Abdulkadir Masharipov, an Uzbekistan national was captured in a special operations police raid on a house in Istanbul’s Esenyurt district, private NTV television reported, adding that he had been staying in the house belonging to a friend from Kyrgyzstan.

Hundreds of people had gathered at the swanky Reina nightclub to celebrate the New Year when the gunman shot a police officer and a civilian outside the club, then stormed the premises. Most of the dead in the attack were foreign nationals, from the Middle East.

The Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for the nightclub massacre, saying the attack in the first hours of Jan. 1 was in reprisal for Turkish military operations in northern Syria. The man identified as the suspect had been on the run since the attack.

The first image of the bruised attacker showed him in a grey, bloodied shirt being held by his neck. Private NTV said he had resisted arrest. His Kyrgyz friend and three women from Somalia, Senegal and Egypt were also detained in the raid, while his 4-year-old child, who was with him at the home, was taken into protective custody. Hurriyet newspaper said the alleged gunman’s wife and 1-year old daughter were caught in a police operation on Jan. 12.

Police established his whereabouts four or five days ago, but delayed the raid so they could monitor his movements and contacts. The suspects were being taken to Istanbul’s main police headquarters for questioning.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu posted a Twitter message thanking the interior minister, Suleyman Soylu, police and intelligence organizations “who caught the Reina attacker in the name of the people."

ENGINEER MURDERED A MONTH TO HIS RETIREMENT : FAMILY ACCUSES WIFE AND POLICE OF CONSPIRACY !

An Engineer with a frontline Oil company and former chairman of NUPENG, Mr. Adeyemo Adedoyin, 57, who was billed to retire this January to establish his own company has been allegedly hacked to death by yet to be apprehended suspects inside his house at Aviation Estate, Mafoluku, Oshodi, Lagos.

But the immediate younger sister to Adeyemo, simply identified as Benedict has accused the brother’s first wife as the mastermind of the dastardly act.

Benedict who described the purported murder of his brother as height of wickedness, urged the Inspector General of Police Mr. Idris Kpotum Ibrahim to leave no stone unturned to ensure that the perpetrators did not go unpunished to serve as deterrents to others

Alleging that the brother died of bruises sustained as a result of beating and clubbing by the second wife and her agents, she urged the IGP to ignore the earlier post mortem report alleging that the deceased died of heart failure.

She revealed that preliminary investigation revealed that the autopsy was tampered with as the first wife allegedly bribed the Investigating police Officer (IPO) one Babalola and the pathologist who carried out the purported autopsy report

According to her, ‘‘my brother planned to retire this month and he had commenced feasibility studies to commence his own establishment. On that fateful day in December, he put a phone call to his second wife and while on that, the first wife overheard him speaking to her, felt jealous and confronted him. In the course of the brawl the wife’s relations joined in beating my brother and he sustained bruises as a result of the beating. The wife rushed him to hospital without informing anyone.

She added:‘’Prior to this day, the first wife had severally threatened to deal with her and my brother had cried loud which made me to relocate them to one of my flats so that I would monitor events. I even asked the wife’s relations living with them to quit but the woman kept them for this purpose.
She argued that the two relations were arrested by the police but were swiftly released even before the autopsy was conducted fuelling suspicion that the police had compromised investigations.
Giving reasons on why the result of the earlier autopsy result should be jettisoned MTS Benedict argued that the pathologist erred by not involving both parties before carrying out such sensitive report.

‘’We were not represented and not even invited. We suspect foul play and reject it. We got first class information that they poured chemical on my brother’s body to conceal the bruises on his body. We call for a fresh autopsy.
However, at their no 9 Bisi Ladipo street residence at Mafoluku Oshodi Lagos, friends and well-wishers including colleagues are trooping to the area to sympathize with the family.
One of the close friends who spoke under condition of anonymity urged the IGP to thoroughly investigate the matter so as to ensure justice to the deceased family and friends as well as to enable the dead to truly rest in peace
But a senior police officer at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Panti, Yaba, which investigated the case who pleaded anonymity, said all due process were taken before the autopsy was conducted and exonerated the police investigating team of any blame.
