AMOSUN MUST HERE THIS: FAKE CERTIFICATE ROCKS OGUN TEACHING SERVICE COMMISSION!

You recall  in 2012, the then Commissioner for Education and Technology, Segun Odubela, said about 800 public school teachers in Ogun State used fake certificates to secure their employment.

According to Odubela;“An alarming number of teachers have been discovered  not only to possess fake certificates but also engaged in various irregularities with which they were offered jobs in the public schools throughout the 20 Local Government Areas of the state,” Mr. Odubela emphasized".

However, the case of  fake certificates to secure an employment with the Ogun State Service Commission is  still ongoing! Despite  the fact that National Universities Commission (NUC) has published name of unaccredited universities, in which the University of Education, Wineba, Ghana,is among. It is very disturbing that some teachers in the state are still tendering the certificate from this unaccredited University as an additional qualification and Ogun state Ministry of Education sees nothing wrong with this practice! The irony of it is that these teachers didn't attend this university but they got their certificate through back door!

The question now is,does it mean that the 'Oga at the top' in the Ministry of Education never aware of this unaccredited universities certificate?

Meanwhile, the Executive Secretary, National Universities Commission, Prof. Julius Okojie, has warned Nigerians against undergoing degree programmes that the University of Education, Winneba, Ghana, is offering under an affiliation with Hallmark Educational Bureau Nigeria Limited.
Okoje said the affiliation was illegal and that certificates awarded to its products would not be recognised in Nigeria.

Okojie’s position was contained in a  Memo bulletin, which the NUC produced after a three-man delegation from the Ghanaian university visited the commission.

ROBBERS STORM 5 CHURCHES SAME NIGHT IN ONDO STATE DURING VIGIL !

Armed Robbers who stormed churches located along Ondo Road and  the Fanibi area of Akure, Ondo State, on Saturday, reportedly robbed worshipers, carting away properties worth millions from the churches they attacked from 2 AM to 4 AM uninterrupted. It is also alleged, that they shared their loot in one of the affected churches.

According to victims and eyewitnesses, the incident happened during the end-of-the-month prayer and vigil services of the churches. It was also alleged that while the robbery was ongoing, some church members managed to call the control room of the Ondo State Police Command, but there was no response from the command.

An eyewitness who claimed that about 5 churches were robbed before the hoodlums got to their church, alleged that the robbers were armed with guns, machetes, iron rods and sticks, adding that they beat some ‘uncooperative’ victims.

“After finishing our vigil at about 3am on Saturday, all of us were going home when some armed men met us on the road. They told us they were members of a vigilance group in the area and they asked us to go back to the church.

“They followed us to the church. On entering the church with us, they locked the door from inside. One of them brought out a pistol and asked us to lie down and face the ground. They collected everything on us, including our phones and money.

“As we lay face down, we heard them sharing the money they had stolen from other churches they had earlier robbed. From their conversation, we discovered that they must have attacked no fewer than four churches before ours.”

It was gathered that as soon as the robbers were alerted that the police were on their way, they removed their victims' simcards and dropped them on the chairs, before fleeing through the windows.

Punch reports that the Special Anti-Robbery Squad arrived the area about 15 minutes after the bandits left. Though no arrest has been made, however, a gun and a mobile telephone dropped by the robbers at the scene of the incident, was recovered.

Confirming the incident, the Public Relations Officer of the state's police command, Mr. Femi disclosed that the command had commenced investigation.

NIGERIAN POLICE ONLY PARADES POOR PEOPLE BUT COVERING RICH MEN~~FALANA

Femi Falana , Lawyer and human rights activist, has hit the Nigeria Police for always rushing to parade poor men without finding them guilty of any offence. He said the same police would give rich men cover once they went against the law.

Falana, who was reacting to the recent arrest of 20 persons in connection with the Ile-Ife clash and the clampdown on members of the Peace Corps of Nigeria, said, they should sue the federal government for damages.

The lawyer in a statement Sunday evening said the media parade of the suspects by the police infringed their fundamental rights, and that it also violated the principle of presumption of innocence until proved guilty.

He also warned the attorney-general of the federation to caution law enforcement agencies against parading criminal suspects.

He said, “Although the courts have repeatedly cautioned the law enforcement agencies to desist from parading criminal suspects before the media the inspector-general of police, Mr Ibrahim Idris has justified the illegal practice. It was a defence which smacks of official impunity and insensitivity.

Mrs Taiwo Obasanjo, wife of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, on Monday filed a suit at an Ikeja High Court, seeking to stop the wedding of her son, Olujonwo Obasanjo, scheduled for May 11.

Ex-President Obasanjo and the father of the bride, Sir Kessington Adebutu, promoter of Premier Lotto known as “Baba Ijebu” are respondents to the suit.

Mrs Obasanjo, who is the twin sister of Chief Kenny Martins, the former Coordinator of the Police Equipment Fund, is seeking a postponement of the wedding of her son, Olujonwo to Tope Adebutu scheduled for May 11 and May 12.

She wants the wedding to be fixed for a date after June 1.

Olujonwo and Tope had an elaborate introduction on Dec. 17, 2016 with the social media awash with photographs of the event.

Obasanjo, among others, is seeking a court declaration that as the mother of the groom, she had the rights to take part in the deliberations, decisions and activities leading to the forthcoming ceremony.

According to her, wedding invitations have been sent out and she has been excluded from the preparations for the ceremonies.

She said she also received prophesies and warnings from men of God to the effect that Olujonwo, her son who turns 34 on June 1, should not do or be involved in any elaborate celebration before his birthday.

The woman wants the court to compel Adebutu and Obasanjo to shift the wedding to a date after June 1 after she had appealed to Adebutu and Mrs Rosemary Dacosta, the mother of the bride, Tope Adebutu, the bride-to-be as well as Chief Kenny Martins.

Justice Lateefa Okunnu has fixed April 10 for hearing of the suit no. ID/262FPM/2017

TONTO DIKE'S MARRIAGE CRISIS GHANAIAN POLICE REVEALS MORE SECRET (VIDEO)

Following the  social media exposed marriage crisis of Nollywood actress ,Tonto Dikeh and her estranged husband, Olakunle Churchill,  the media that interviewed them, has further travelled to Ghana over references from the couple in their interviews. Tonto Dikeh claimed she suffered domestic violence at home and subsequently ran to the Nigerian Embassy in Ghana naked for safety.

The ‎Media Room Hub reporter Azuka visited the Ghana Police and the Embassy to further investigate claims from both couple and present facts to the public especially with regards to the status of those involved in society.  This is a must-watch video which exposes the false claims and counter accusations that bedeviled the much talked about marriage bouhaha.

A Police Superintendent, Joseph Oppong, who was part of the team that investigated the case between Tonto Dikeh and her husband, Olakunle Churchill, spilled more secret as he was interviewed by a Mediahub correspondent.

According to the police officer, an incident was reported to them on June 5th, 2015, by Olakunle Churchill, who alleged that Tonto Dikeh destroyed properties in his house in Accra, Ghana. He went further to disclose that CCTVs, televisions alongside other household properties were found destroyed, when they got there. He also alleged there were eyewitnesses who confirmed the incident.

The Policeman alleged that the fight was caused by some women Tonto allegedly spotted her husband with when they got to Ghana on that faithful day, and told him not to come back to the house. Mr. Olakunle who went to sleep in a hotel, didn't come back the next day as he went out with some friends.  This marked the beginning of destruction of properties in the house by Tonto Dikeh, by 3a.m on that day. He further alleged that those present at the scene of the incident, stopped Tonto Dikeh from destroying more properties before the Police got there.

He also alleged that Tonto Dikeh who looked haggard when they took her to the Nigerian embassy in Ghana, laid a complaint against her husband at the embassy. The Ghanaian Police Superintendent, also disclosed that Tonto Dikeh who was arrested by her husband, was also bailed by him (Churchill), as he wrote a withdrawal letter on the case, telling the Ghanaian Police that he will like to settle the matter with his wife amicably.

He concluded by saying that his men were not bribed by both parties, as they have a detailed document on the case.
