I'M AFRAID TO COLLECT OFFERINGS'~~ T.B JOSHUA (VIDEO)

Prophet T.B. Joshua has made yet another controversial statement, admitting that he is afraid to collect money from congregants in the form of offerings.

“People like me are scared when it comes to collecting thanksgiving because I don't know where you are coming from with your money,” Joshua candidly stated in a sermon on Sunday 9th April 2017, subsequently released on his popular YouTube channel Emmanuel TV.

“Many can come with blood-money,” he acknowledged. “They will just enter church and when it is time for offering, they will raise their offering whereas it's blood-money. What can a man of God use that kind of blood-money for? Are they going to bless the man?”

According to Joshua, this issue has been the bane of many ministries. “What we
receive from our members as offering and thanksgiving is killing us,” he warned fellow pastors.

The cleric went further to proffer a way out, suggesting that ministers of God are also to blame for the way they praise and give attention to those who drop the largest offerings.

“Wicked people like the pastor to ask. If the pastor does not ask, praise and recognise them, they cannot give. They like praise and recognition,” he explained.

“If you want to avoid these people and stop them from putting money - don't praise them. Let them know it's God they give to, not you.”

Revealing another clue, Joshua called on pastors to stop receiving offerings ‘directly’ from congregants.

“If you don't receive something directly from a killer, he will not give you - because he wants to be recognised. They like praise; that is their reward because they have no reward from God.”

Joshua stressed that offerings in the church are between the worshipper and God. “What comes from God goes to God. If what you have is from God, it will go to God - you don't need to have any recognition from the pastor. Whatever you want to give God, you give it,”

The pastor then impressed on people the need to consider the force behind any action, not merely the action itself.

"The force behind your action determines where the action comes from... It's not what you see but the force behind what you see that matters,” he stated.

This is not the first time T.B. Joshua’s statements about tithes and offerings have come to the fore. Last year, news surfaced of an elderly woman whom Joshua returned a tithe of N500,000 to, adding that God would not approve of him collecting a tithe from such an elderly person in need of his support.

CHUKUWUEMEKA EZEUGO aka REV.KING AND OTHERS ON DEATH ROW IN LAGOS PRISONS WILL BE EXECUTED SOON !

The Lagos State Government will soon execute Chukwuemeka Ezeugo popularly known as Rev. King as well as others on death row in Lagos prisons.

State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Adeniji Kazeem confirmed this to PM News at a ministerial press conference in Lagos today, stating that the state government was reviewing the matter with a view to taking a crucial decision very soon.
The Supreme court had on 27 February 2016 upheld the judgment of the Appeal Court which passed the penalty of death by hanging on Rev. King. Kazeem disclosed that he visited the Lagos state prisons recently and discovered that those on death row were acting as though they had certain rights which excluded them from being executed. He revealed that the prison officials complained about this attitude of theirs and called on the Government to act and remedy the situation.

Kazeem said the previous administration had not deemed it fit to sign documents for the execution of convicts on death row but vowed that the Ambode administration was moving towards necessary document to ensure those on death row are executed.

“Lots of people are on death row, Rev. King is not the only one on death row, it is on the instruction of Ambode that I visited the prisons recently and I discuss the issue with the prison officials and they expressed concern. We are moving in that direction of signing. The prison officials said we need to look at that seriously. Those on death row are beginning to think they have some rights. We are going to move in that direction, you will hear from me, but I will not tell you the exact date,” Kazeem said according to reports from PM News.

On the issue of Major Hamzat Al-Mustapha, the Chief Security Officer of General Sani Abacha accused of killing the late Kudirat Abiola, Kazeem disclosed that the state government had re-opened the case, saying that government was putting machinery in motion to ensure that justice was done on the matter.

PHOTO: WOMAN BADLY BEATEN BY HER HUSBAND FOR REFUSING TO SWEAR 'JUJU' TO PROVE HER FIDELITY!

As shared by lawyer and activist, Emeka Ugwuonye:
"Recently, I posted here on DPA that a woman should not be forced to swear any oath before any juju doctor or babalawo to show she has been faithful. I made that post because I have come to understand the predicament women face under such unconstitutional and evil practice.

True to my fears, we have a woman who was so badly beaten by her husband tonight because the woman refused to swear after she read my post yesterday.

You can see the picture of the woman in her battered and brutalized state. And you can compare her badly injured face with pictures she took before the beating. You will see how a beautiful and bubbling lady was dehumanizing by her own husband and almost killed just because she did not swear before a juju altar. The woman maintains that she is a Christian and could not swear to a shrine. But the man told her to swear and die or refuse to swear and still die.

POLICE ARREST LEADER OF OWERRI BANK ROBBERY AT FATHER'S FUNERAL

The Imo State Police Command  have reportedly arrested the mastermind of the Owerri bank robbery which led to the killing of a bank customer in the state.

You recall a four-man armed robbery gang on Wednesday, February, 22, stormed a Bank along Wetheral road Owerri, Imo state capital, and carried out an attack that left one dead and several injured.

The robbers, who had trailed a customer with a huge sum of money to the bank, on getting to the bank premises opened fire at the man as he was bringing out his money. As soon as that happened, security men at the bank responded by shooting down one of the robbers. The robbers later fled with their heist in a Ghana-must-go bag.

After six weeks of investigation, two suspects– Justice Ogbenna, aka JJ, and Okechukwu Onwuamaegbu– were on Friday arrested in Aba, Abia State by operatives of the Imo State Police Command.

Punch reports that the state Police Public Relations Officer, Andrew Enwerem, told their correspondent on Sunday that policemen attached to the Special Anti-robbery Squad of the command arrested the suspected robbers at the Saint Francis Mortuary in Osisioma Aba, Abia State.

The police spokesperson said,
“The two prime suspects who coordinated the Bank robbery in Owerri on February 23, have been arrested.
“We trailed them to Aba, where they were nabbed. They immediately led our men to their hideout at Umuejea Nvosi in the Isiala Ngwa South LGA, where exhibits like two AK-47 rifles, seven magazines, and 127 live ammunition were recovered.”
Enwerem confirmed that the suspects, who were cooling their heels at the state police command in Owerri, had made useful statements and were helping the police with information that could help in the arrest  of other fleeing members of the gang.

He disclosed that the police would charge them to court at the end of investigations.

A top police source told Punch that the leader of the gang, Ogbenna, was arrested on the day he planned to bury his late father. He said,
“We got information that he would bury his father on Friday and we trailed him to the mortuary. We laid siege to the morgue. Immediately he arrived with his family members and friends to carry the remains of his father home, we arrested him.”
The police source, who described the suspect as a notorious armed robber, claimed that he had jumped bail in Anambra State in 2016 in a similar case of armed robbery.
