PHOTOS: MAN KILLED HIS GIRLFRIEND AND WROTE: "SHE CANT DATE ANY MAN WHILE AM STILL ALIVE"

Cinta Nyambs,25, found lying in a pool  of blood with multiple stab wounds in the chest, neck and stomach.
According to report, 25-year-old man, named Dan, committed suicide after he stabbed his girlfriend to death. He had first attempted to stab himself, before ingesting pesticide. Unfortunately these didn't work, he resorted to using rope ties to a rafter.
This happened in Molo town, Nakuru County Kenya on Monday night, September 18. The 25-year-old man identified as Daniel Mwangi alias Dan

Residents said Cinta and Dan had engaged in a heated argument Monday night before Cinta’s screams were heard emanating from Dan’s rental house.

According to Dan’s neighbour, Andrew Marwa, he heard Cinta’s screams at 7pm Monday, but could not gain access into Dan’s house since the house’s main door was made of steel, making it difficult to break the door open.

“At first, I thought the woman was screaming due to a robbery attack, only to be informed that Dan had killed his girlfriend before taking his life,” said Marwa.

One of the residents, who broke into Dan’s house after several attempts, said the two lovebirds were already dead by the time he got access into the house.

“The house was a mess; several broken clay cups were spread in the room; a strong smell of the pesticide had filled the air,” said Dan’s neighbour, Silas Awiti.

A suicide note left behind by Dan implied that Cinta was having a love affair with another man, which sparked the fatal jealousy.

“I love her so much she cannot date another man while I’m still alive. It is so stupid of me to do this (commit murder, suicide), but why should I live?” read the note in part.

Paul Itume, a village elder in Molo, said had the neighbours responded to Cinta’s screams in good time, her life would have been saved.

Itume expressed concern over the frequent cases of partners committing murder or suicide in Molo town, urging lovers to solve their differences amicably without resorting to violence.

Molo Deputy County Commissioner David Wanyonyi, who confirmed the incident said the loss of lives of Cinta and Dan was as a result of love gone sour.

Cinta, who got engaged to Dan in October, 2016, had graduated from Bondo Teachers’ Training College with a certificate in primary education.

Bodies of the two lovers were deposited at Molo Sub-County Hospital mortuary.

PHOTOS: HUMANRIGHTS ACTIVIST SEEKS JUSTICE FOR A WOMAN WHOSE HUSBAND DELIBERATELY INFECTED WITH HIV/AIDS IN OGUN STATE!

Humanrights activist, Joe Okei-Odumakin is currently seeking justice for a married woman, Mrs Titilayo Emiabata whose husband, Kazeem Owolabi Emiabata, deliberately infected with HIV/AIDS and then threw her out of their matrimonial home in August.

A statement released by Okei-Odumakin, says Kazeem,  is a Naval officer who is currently serving at Barrack Maintainance Unit, Port Harcourt, deliberately infected his legally married wife Titilayo with HIV and threw her out of their matrimonial home after she discovered his anti-retroviral drugs and medical records, which showed that he had been on treatment for a long period without disclosing his status to her.

She confronted him and later told her parents about her predicament when she got tested and her result came out positive. Kazeem had threatened to deal with his now estranged wife if she exposed his HIV status and then vowed to use the Police and other means to "kill Titilayo before HIV/AIDS kills him".

Okei-Odumakin says the victim is being prosecuted by the husband and the Nigeria Police Force for alleged "house breaking" and "stealing" because she went to pack her personal belongings out of their matrimonial home after she was sent out of their matrimonial home.

The case between the Commissioner of Police, Ogun State vs Mrs. Titilayo Emiabata comes up tomorrow Thursday 21st September, 2017 by 9am at the Chief Magistrate Court in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State presided over by Senior Magistrate E.O. Idowu. She was arrested, detained for four days and arraigned in court on the 24th of August, 2017 in Charge No. MAG/55C/2017 on a 10 count charge bothering on burglary, housebreaking and stealing by the Nigeria Police Force, Ogun State Command.

The Women Arise for Change and the Campaign for Democracy which is being run by Odumakin, is demanding that justice should be done in this case. The NGO says it rejects the treatment meted out to Mrs Titilayo Emiabata by her Naval officer husband, in connivance with the Divisional Police Officer of Ago-Iwoye in Ogun State.

Lagos-based human rights lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, would be representing her pro bono in court.
