FEMALE PASTOR IN POLICE NET FOR SELLING 68 CHILDREN DELIVERED IN HER CHURCH !

Mrs. Peace Udoh,47,General Overseer, Divineyard Deliverance Ministry,  has been arrested by police in Lagos for allegedly luring young pregnant girls to deliver in her church and then selling the babies. She was said to have sold about 68 children delivered in her church.

The bubble burst when the aunt of a girl, Eunice Ede, who gave birth in the church took the baby away. This annoyed the pastor who reported the matter to the police. Udoh said she was a nurse before she got the call from God to establish a church.

She said: “Even after establishing the church 13 years ago, I still operates a maternity home in the church where members of my church deliver.

“After delivery, her aunty came and took the mother and her baby away. Since two months ago, I have not seen them. I don’t lure young girls into my church to give birth; I only assist them to have safe delivery.

“Whenever I see young girls roaming the streets with pregnancy, I would advise them to come to my church and take care of them until they are delivered of their babies.
After deliveries, I do charge between N12,000 and N15,000.” Eunice aunty, Miss Angela Kenneth, said she brought her to Lagos when her pregnancy was about four months old.

She said: “When we arrived in Lagos, I was looking for a cheap clinic, where I could register for the antenatal when someone introduced us to the maternity home. I was surprised after given birth to the baby when the pastor wanted to collect the baby from my sister.

“The pastor went to a police station and lied that I came to her church to steal a baby. That was how I was arrested.

“When I got to the police station, it was there I opened up and told the police what actually transpired between the pastor and my sister.” Eunice told our correspondent that her aunty brought her Lagos because of the disgrace the pregnancy had brought to her parents.

She said: “I used to go to the church for antenatal clinic every Tuesday. Unfortunately two days after my delivery, the pastor came to me that she wanted to take my baby to somewhere for prayer.
But because I have been hearing about people selling babies, I called my aunty on the phone and explained to her. That was how my baby and I left the hospital.”

Mrs. Bukola Ajala, a nurse, said she was contracted by the pastor after the nurse that was working with her before had left. She said: “Initially when the pastor approached me, I told her I did not want to involve myself in baby factory. But she denied operating such a thing.

Because she is from Calabar, some other women who are from Calabar in Cross River State and Akwa Ibom State are patronising her.” The state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, said the woman would be charged to court after completion of investigations.

"I thought of you today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday and the day before that too. i think of you in silence, i often speak your name. all i have are memories and pictures in frame. your memory is a keepsake, from which i will never part. God has you in his arms. i have you in my heart. A thousand words won’t bring you back, I know because I’ve tried; neither will a thousand tears, I know because I’ve cried. If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, i’d walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. A voice from a family is gone , a voice we loved is stilled, a place is vacant in the home which never can be filled . I miss you Godwill . Could i just see you once again ? Have us sing together once again ? I dreamt of you last night you where so happy . I know your in a better place now . Singing and worshiping in heaven ..... till we meet again..... you said you would always have my back and protect me any way u can . I hope u keeping that promise now that your in heaven too . I Love You my brother Will Adiks . . You are forever in my heart and memories"

Another friend wrote on Facebook:
"September 6th 2013. The first time Will Adiks and I became friends... I saw him progress while I also help his ministry... I remember when he will come to me late at night in my church studio where I lived and beg me to burn some cds he will take to the place he was to perform the next day. God uplifted him and his songs grew to every length and breadth of south south and beyond. Last weekend while watching the performance of Travis Greene at the Experience 2016. I immediately wished that he will be given the opportunity at the next edition of the Experience to minister to hundred of thousands that will be in attendance. 13th December, 2016 was the last time we spoke on phone, I called him because the cab driver that was taking my wife and I home was playing some tracks from his album... I was even miming the songs to him, he laughed and said God bless you Joe. My dear friend Efe Dollar broke the news to me and I am so much in pains now. While discussing, I said, my prayer for him would be that he had reconcile with his maker before given up the ghost or If God knows he will go to the other side... then He should please by mercy resurrect him back and give him a second chance even though it was a gun incident because 'Adiks' as I fondly called him has inspire me and lots of people to even know HIM(GOD) better. Infact, I don't know what to write again. Adieu! my dear friend Adiks"

140 STRANDED NIGERIANS RETURN FROM LIBYA (PHOTOS)

The 140 stranded Nigerians in Libyan arrived the Murtala Muhammad International Airport about 4:30pm yesterday. Their return was facilitated by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) under its Assisted Voluntary Return (AVR) scheme while the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) officially received them on behalf of the Federal Government.

Director General of NEMA Alhaji Muhammad Sani Sidi was represented by the Deputy Director Search and Rescue Dr Onimode Bandele who led the agency's team comprising of the Deputy Director Relief and Rehabilitation Mr Daniel Obot, SouthWest Zonal Coordinator Alhaji Suleiman Yakubu and joined by representatives of other stakeholders to receive the returnees.

The DG advised Nigerians not to travel out of the country without being sure of what to do abroad. He explained to the returnees that reception accorded their return was simply a gesture of concern and care by the Federal Government which they should reciprocate by being law abiding and support  the economic and social development of the country.

It could recall that NEMA had this year received at various times Nigerian returnees from Libya under similar arrangement ofAssisted Voluntary Return ( AVR) as facilitated by the IOM. These include 154 that returned in October and 162 that came in June.
