SHE IS A DAUGHTER OF A GHOST DAD...MARRIED A GHOST..HAVE KIDS FOR A GHOST !

A friend of mine, Lara Nike Onasanya-Tofowomo, mailed this strange story culled from Nigerian tribune to me, I take my time to read through, its look as if am watching late Kola Olawuyi;s ‘Nkan Mbe’  video ! The story may look like fairy tales but with the way this young lady narrated her story, it deserves a second look. However, is this fiction, hallucination or fabrication?
Taiyelolu Abdulrahman,20, whose father, died almost 20 years ago, nurtured  her till she was married to another dead or “ghost” husband, one thing leads to another ,below  is Taiyelolu’s story:
‘’She and her twin brother, Kehinde, grew up with their father in a flat at the Ajah area of Lagos. They led a relatively comfortable life in the house where they only depended on generator as the only source of electricity. Although their father was not engaged in any kind of work, he provided for them.
“My father was not working. He never left the house except on a few occasions at night. But if I asked for N50, 000, he gave it to me. We had no visitors and we visited nobody,” she said.
All they had to do were sleep, eat and watch home videos.
Asked about her mother, she said she and her twin brother grew up to know only their father. They did not see any woman with him. To go out of the house, their father gave the twins a small gourd each which they simply clasped to their palms and then they burst out on the road and board vehicles to the market to purchase food items like wheat, semovita, macaroni, spaghetti and rice. They never consumed amala (yam flour meal).
On a particular day, however, Taiyelolu forgot to take her gourd and as she stepped out of the house, what confronted her was a cemetery with a lot of vaults and a bushy environment.
She screamed and dashed back inside. Then, her father told her to pick the gourd, atona (guide) as it was called. As she clasped the object to her palm and then ventured out, this time, she found herself on a busy tarred road.
Another incident which frightened her happened in the night. “My father went out whenever he wanted but it was always around 10.00 or 11.00 p.m. He would not take anyone along with him. But there was a day I begged him to take me out to where he usually went and he obliged. When we got there, something strange and fearful happened. It was like a canteen and there, I saw a small cooking stand with a big pot on it without firewood or fire and the food was boiling. I asked my father how it was possible for food to cook without firewood and fire and the woman selling the food became angry and slapped me. She asked my father who I was; that I was not part of them but only wanted to expose their secrets. My father begged her and we left the place,” she remarked.
After the incident, her father refused to take her out again so that she would not be privy to the secrets and circumstances surrounding their true identities. Since then, she refused to take food from her father, but only cooked her own food.
By the time Taiyelolu came of age, her father did not allow her the choice of a husband, but asked her to marry someone identified as Abdulazeez. The man moved in with them and behaved like her father.
Soon, she got pregnant. And when she eventually went into labour, she said her father went out, brought back a particular kind of leaf which he applied on her navel and she was delivered of a baby boy without any complication. Her father, who acted as the midwife, took care of the placenta. She bore her two other boys in the same manner. Her children were named Abdul Qayum (now eight years old), ‘Rokeeb (four) and Jamiu (two and a half).
But what revealed the true identities of her father and husband? She disclosed that all the jealously guarded secrets began to come to the open when Kehinde declined to marry a lady recommended by their father.
They continued their routine life until their father considered Kehinde mature enough to get married and brought a lady home for him. But Kehinde was said to have refused outright to marry “one of them.” Taiyelolu said she asked him what he meant by “one of them” but he told her not to bother as she was only a woman who was oblivious of what was happening.
“One day, Kehinde was eating and he suddenly coughed, slumped and died. My father did not feel any sorrow as a result of this. He buried my brother in an unknown place. When I asked him about where he buried him, he said some Muslim clerics had come to pray over his body and he had buried it. Not convinced by his response, I said to him: “When I had my babies, no clerics came for the naming, but they came for the burial of my brother?’”
Disturbed by the shocking death of her brother, Taiyelolu confronted her father that she wanted to know his family. That decision marked the beginning of her journey into a new world.
“Eventually, my father agreed to take me and the children to his hometown, Offa, Kwara State. He said he was from the imam’s family. When we almost got to his family house, he said he wanted to check on someone close by and pointed the house to us. He asked us to ask for Alhaji Hussein Salmoni, his uncle. When we met his uncle and explained ourselves to him, he was taken aback. He eventually showed us his grave. He said my father died over 20 years ago,” she said.
Amid bewilderment, Taiyelolu left for the only place she knew as home, Ajah, Lagos, but could not locate their house again. What worsened her situation was the mysterious disappearance of the gourd which her father had given her and could have guided her back to the house.
She went to Ilorin in an effort to locate her mother’s family house which her father told her was Isale Koto. She managed to strike up conversations with some people who introduced her to a radio presenter who narrated her story on air. She also met a lady who she followed to Ede, Osun State, and stayed with for about a month. It was while in that city that she traced her husband’s parents.
She claimed that she was walking by the road one day when a car parked by her side and the driver told her that it was her birthday and in order to felicitate with her, gave her a handset with a SIM card. Taiyelolu is uncertain of her age, but assumed that she could be more than 20.
“It was when I got to ‘this world’ that I realised that I am too young to have given birth to three children with the fourth on the way. Also, I did not know that there is a place where people struggled to earn a living until I got here. It saddens me that I now wake up every day with no money.”
She said she never attended a school, but that her father had the knowledge of the Qur’an and had western education. According to her, her father was the one who taught her and her brother Arabic and a bit of western education,” she said. It is obvious that Taiyelolu is truly versed in the recitation of the Qur’an. Her children now attend a primary school in the village.
On how she got to Tonkere, she said she went to observe the evening prayer at a mosque in Ede when, after prayers, she was chatting with the imam and an old man appeared and told her in clear terms that she was suffering.
The man then asked her why she was obstinate about returning the children with her to Tonkere, her husband’s place of birth. The man said if she refused to do so within three days, something unpleasant would become of the children and the man disappeared.
Then she asked the imam if he saw the old man who just interrupted their conversation, but the imam said no. She then collected N200 from the cleric, fetched her children and the four of them, at about after 8.00 p.m., boarded a motorcycle to Akoda junction for N50.
At the junction, she asked another cyclist to take her to Tonkere but the man, because of the fact that it was late in the day, charged her N1000, whereas she only had N150. But it was necessary that the children got to Tonkere that night because their father, who was deceased, demanded that she took them to his people.
As she pleaded with the cyclist, a car parked by them and mediated in the matter. The driver asked the cyclist to convey the woman and her children to their destination for N500, which was the usual fare. The man gave the cyclist the N500, wrote down the motorcycle’s number and warned the cyclist to take the passengers to no place but the mosque at Tonkere.
As they alighted from the motocycle at Tonkere, Taiyelolu said her husband appeared to her physically.
She said he pointed to the shop opposite the mosque as his mother’s and the third building to the shop as his father’s house, saying “I should ask for his father, Pa Gbadamosi. As they conversed, her husband said a lady who was passing by, Tosin, was his sister and he called her.” Between the time Taiyelolu looked in the direction of the lady and looked back in her husband’s direction, he had disappeared.
The lady is with her husband’s people now, but they did not receive her with open arms because the aged parents of Abdulazeez were confused about how their first son, who died at a tender age, could have fathered three children. They are suspicious of their supposed daughter-in-law and are acting cautiously around her. But she dismissed any suspicious of band motives asking why she would want to lie herself into a poor home.
Also, Taiyelolu’s mother-in-law, the Iyalode of Tonkere, had been down with stroke and the father-in-law is a farmer. Financially, they are not capable of supporting Taiyelolu and her children.
The lady, who said the clothes she uses now were given to her, added that they were rags, compared to the ones she wore in her father’s house. What pointed to the fact that she could truly be from another world was the way she was lamenting openly about the treatment meted out to her by her in-laws. She said if she had made up her story, rather than bringing her children to the old mud house, she would have taken them to the governor’s house. The mud house, she said, did not compare with her father’s house in “the other world.” She said she only left her father’s house with a black bag and a Qur’an, which are still in her possession.
She also claimed to have dreamt of her father once, who was all tears, lamenting with his finger in his mouth that he warned his daughter not to embark on this journey. She said her husband pleaded with her in her dreams each time his people offended her. She said her husband said the reason he insisted she took his children to his parents was for his parents to have the joy of raising his children as they did not have such opportunity with him even as a first child.
The parents said they could not remember where they buried Abdulazeez.
The survival of heavily pregnant Taiyelolu and the future of her three children pose a challenge to her. She said the aged parents of her “ghost” husband could no longer work, hence, the fate of her children hung in the balance.
When she called our reporter last Monday, she said she was having signs that she would soon put to bed. She, therefore, appealed to the Osun State governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesola; his wife, Alhaja Sherifat, other well-meaning Nigerians, including corporate organisations and non-governmental organisations to come to her aid by empowering her so that her future and that of her three children abandoned could be secure.
What about her husband? She says he these days appears only in her dream’’

NELSON MANDELA: WORLD LEADERS PAID TRIBUTE

President Jacob Zuma said: "Our nation has lost its greatest son. Our people have lost a father.

The Queen said she is "deeply saddened by Mandela's death".

President Obama said: "I am one of the countless millions who drew inspiration from Nelson Mandela's life. My very first political action, the first thing I ever did that involved an issue or a policy or politics, was a protest against apartheid. I studied his words and his writings. The day that he was released from prison gave me a sense of what human beings can do when they're guided by their hopes and not by their fears. And like so many around the globe, I cannot fully imagine my own life without the example that Nelson Mandela set, and so long as I live I will do what I can to learn from him.
"To Graça Machel and his family, Michelle and I extend our deepest sympathy and gratitude for sharing this extraordinary man with us. His life's work meant long days away from those who loved him the most. And I only hope that the time spent with him these last few weeks brought peace and comfort to his family"
"For now, let us pause and give thanks for the fact that Nelson Mandela lived - a man who took history in his hands, and bent the arc of the moral universe toward justice. May God bless his memory and keep him in peace."

Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, who attended the Royal premiere of the new Nelson Mandela film, Long Walk To Freedom, in London this evening, is quoted by the BBC as saying: "It is extremely sad and tragic news."

UK Labour Leader Ed Miliband Tweeted: "Deep condolences to Graca Machel, his family and friends and to all the people of South Africa. The world has lost the global hero of our age. Nelson Mandela showed us the true meaning of courage, hope, and reconciliation."

UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon said: "Only because of such a great man like Nelson Mandela is it possible that particular people in Africa and elsewhere are able to enjoy freedom and human dignity. We have to learn the wisdom and determinations and commitment of Mr Mandela to make this world better for all."

Former US President Bill Clinton said: "History will remember Nelson Mandela as a champion for human dignity and freedom, for peace and reconciliation."

F.W. De Klerk, former South African President, said: "I think Nelson Mandela's legacy is 'don't be bitter about the past - take the hands also of your former enemies'. Peace is the best way forward and in order to have lasting peace you need to have reconsideration, there needs to be also forgiveness. I liked him and I immediately felt that this is truly a man of greatness."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: "He was the father of his people, a man of vision, a freedom fighter who rejected violence."

SHOCKING: GBENGA KAKA PROPOSING A BILL TO SEND BLOGGERS TO JAIL

In this 21st century, how could someone in his right thinking sense be proposing and lobbying his colleagues in the Senate to pass a bill ‘to send Nigerian to Jail should they found wanting of hyper criticizing the government’?

It was gathered that the man behind this wicked bill is no other person than Senator Alhaji Sefiu Adegbenga Kaka, an All Progressive Congress member representing Ogun East Senatorial district.

The main reason for this ‘’slavery bill’’ according to a Senator from the South South from the Peoples Democratic Party who spoke to Transparency For Nigeria, said they were shock to their marrow when Senator Kaka began to lobby them to horridly pass the bill into law. When asked why they were shocked, he noted; “between us in PDP and his party, who have you guys helped more? Who have you critics and journalists defended and attacked more? We are at the receiving end of you press men in the media while you paint them as angels. Ordinarily, we should be the one sponsoring such bill, not APC”.

A highly placed source within the APC fold who is not happy with the bill confided that the bill is being sponsored for 2015. When asked what he meant by that, he revealed that they (APC) will form the central government in 2015 and they will not want to face the kind of critical reports and write-ups currently being faced by the PDP, hence they have to act now before the time. He however stated that he was not in support of such bills that gag freedom of expression.

Then the question we need to asked APC is that are we going back to military era, where decree 4 was the in thing?

TRUE LIFE STORY: GOD HEALED MY BROTHER IN-LAW OF CANCER DEASES

Omotola is my baby sister, bellow was her testimony about the goodness of the Lord in the life of her husband. I blogged her write-up unedited. Enjoy it:

1st of December, 2013! hmm...this time last year I was in India. When you hear this, I'm sure your first thoughts will be...enjoyment, fun, holiday.

Quite the opposite...it was more like hospitals, tests and treatments...my husband was diagnosed with Cancer of the lymph nodes in December 2011/January 2012. We had gone up and down in Nigeria for almost a year and when the situation continued to deteriorate, we were forced to leave behind our home and daughter to seek solutions in a foreign land.

So while others prepared for a joyful Christmas, I didn't know whether or not I would be telling my daughter that her daddy was no more. He had even earlier told me to prepare myself for it as he would write a letter handing over the business we jointly run to me and permitting me to remarry as soon I wanted...God forbid!

The doctors tried, they really did, as India has one of the best medical services in the world, and in March 2013, having gone through rounds of painful chemotherapy, we were told he was in remission (the cancer had been controlled, all the lumps gone) and we could go home, which we joyfully did, glad to be reunited with our daughter again. Glad that we didn't have to live with the huge financial burden that the regular treatments and travel required of us.

Oh, but this joy was short lived...at the end of May he began to complain of serious back pains. On my birthday, 8th of June, I watched him endure fierce spasms and pain attacks all through the night...my birthday gift was that he lived through the night.

We had to go back to India immediately. We dropped everything again and departed. By this time, my husband was on a wheel chair and I was truly worried the airline wouldn't let us fly because of the pain attacks which left him shouting in pain. My husband is a very strong man who hates pity of any kind...for him to shout, it must be a truly terrible level of pain.

We got to India, the doctors put him on Morphine (a heavy duty pain management drug that could become as addictive as cocaine) and started their series of tests. They saw a new, very large mass at the base of his spinal cord which was the cause of the pain and inability to walk. They said they needed to start another cancer treatment - radiotherapy - immediately. They gave us no assurances this time. It was a known medical fact that if cancer relapsed so quickly after remission, the possibility of survival was very low.

Then God took over. We were reminded that only God can truly heal. God sent His Word on divine health to us via true men of God. We prayed, we held on to his Word, we waited on Him with tears and in faith...and He began to answer...

We returned to the hospital and the first miracle occurred - they couldn't find any cancer cells in the mass! No cancer cells? How? They told us to go and come back in a few days. We went back praying - more shock - this time they couldn't even find the mass itself again. The very large mass that was visible in the tests, that we could see clearly in the scans, had disappeared! The doctors kept coming out of the theatre to ask me for the different results of the different scans to compare...they couldn't find the mass!

To cut a very long story short, God had worked an amazing miracle and I stand to testify. Step by step he began to regain his strength and started to walk again. The doctors still had no answers for us on what had happened, but we knew God had in His mercies answered our prayers.

They told us to go home again...and we've been home ever since July 2013.

So here I am on the 1st of December, remembering and thanking God for His mercies. It's been 2 years filled with truly intense experiences. From business and financial hurdles, to deep health troubles, from people disappointments to death of special ones. It has not been a bed of roses, but no one ever said life would be.

I don't know what tomorrow holds, but I know the one who holds my tomorrow. He is my God and Father and in His hands I am. So I look up and keep trusting, taking it one precious day at a time.

Happy December everyone. I pray this Christmas will be a joyful one filled with God's love for you.

Much Love,
Motola

FINALLY ADAMS OSHIOMHOLE APOLOGIZED TO THE WIDOW

Adams Oshiomhole , Edo State Governor ,has finally apologised to the widow whose wares were confisticated at the Oba Ovonramwen Square, Benin City last week.

While addressing a delegation of Federation of Muslim Women Association of Nigeria in Government House Benin City, Oshiomhlole said “I regret my action”.

The Governor narrated that: “Last week, I had an encounter with a young lady at Oba Ovonramwen Square by Mission Road. She was trading on the road and too many people have been doing this. They block the road with their wares. Part of the problem of Benin before now is that it is so difficult to drive round the City.

“That also affects the economic, social and commercial life of the City. The people cannot move from one place to the other. Where you could have spent thirty minutes, you are spending hours. We have various officers we have assigned to keep the roads clean, to keep the walkways clean so that people can walk. As you may have noticed in the past, there is no street in Benin City that had a walk way.

“But you find some of our women; they just convert the road to trading post. For years we have been sermonizing. I came across this young lady who chooses to put her wares right on the road thereby creating blockade and obstruction. We are all human and in my anger I said to her, how would you be doing this? I asked them to confisticate her wares”, he said.
Explaining further Oshiomhole said ”She told me ‘I am a widow’

“In the process I probably said something that I should not have said. I want to say that I do appreciate that I come from a very poor background. I understand the pains of the poor. We also need to be careful so that the poor do not create more problems.
“Just to say to our women that I regret having said what I said to her. But I am troubled by what I see sometimes. We spend tax payers’ money to build roads so that people can walk and yet some of these things happen. I regretted that particular action but help us to preach to our women to try and respect the right of way”

CORRUPTION : UDUAGHAN NOMINATED DEAD PERSON AS BOARD MEMBER

The Delta State House of Assembly were on Tuesday thrown into a state of astonishment and disbelieved  when it came to light that  one of the seven persons nominated by Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan for appointment into the Delta State Tourism Board had died a while ago.

It was gathered that Mr. Emmanuel Uduaghan , nominated James Youmu,  Efe Afe, Peter Okolotu, Hyacinth Iyere, Amah Agbajoh, Abel Eyube and Joe Morg for appointment into the Delta State Tourism Board; during the screening when Mr. Youmu, the fourth nominee on the list, was called up. Mr. Afe, a former member of the state assembly who was screened as the chairman of the board, immediately told the House that the said James Youmu had died even before the names were sent for screening.

This is a very serious embarrassing situation on part of the governor. It means that the governor cannot vouch for any of the nominees he personally nominated; an action that can be describe as dereliction of duty. The strange incident became a new chapter in the governor’s controversial actions regarding the membership of the state-owned agencies and parastatals.

According to SaharaReporters, a prominent member of the Delta State House of Assembly said that he was dismayed that the governor sent a list of nominees for the boards of state-owned agencies after the governor had sworn in the nominees into office three months ago. The legislator said that the governor’s belated action was “evidence that Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan has lost focus.”

Another lawmaker lamented that: “Why did His Excellency send us names of nominees for state boards for screening and confirmation when the boards were inaugurated by the same governor some months ago?” one of the state lawmakers wondered.

Meanwhile,a letter titled “Request For Confirmation Of Nomination Of Chairmen And Members Of Certain Boards” and personally signed by Governor Uduaghan was accompanied with a list of nominees to be screened for appointment into the Delta State Tourism Board, Delta Broadcasting Service, Warri; Delta Broadcasting Service, Asaba, and Delta State Rural Development Agency.

The latest development, where a dead man’s name appeared on the governor’s list, caused consternation among Deltans who went to the state assembly to witness the screening and confirmation exercise. “Who come put dead man for board?” one of the spectators mused, speaking in pidgin language.

BREAKING NEWS: ASARI DOKUBO ARRESTED IN COTONOU

According to Sahara reporters, the leader of the Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari, was today arrested in Cotonou, Benin Republic.

“We want to emphasize that Alhaji Dokubo-Asari carries on legitimate business and has been living partly in Benin Republic for many years now,” Keyamo said in his statement.  “In fact, he owns houses, schools and an academy in that country. All these places have been searched as at this evening and nothing incriminating was found.”

He suggested that Dokubo’s arrest and detention may be a ploy by “certain forces in Nigeria in unholy alliance with the Beninoise government” to keep his client away as 2015 approaches.

“We call on the Nigerian government to immediately intervene and ensure that no harm befalls Alhaji Dokubo-Asari and to use all diplomatic means to secure his immediate release and safe return to Nigeria,” he said.

It will be recalled that has vowed in recent times that unless Mr. President Jonathan retains the presidency in 2015, Nigeria would break up!  He also made a lousy comment  at a meeting of Niger Delta, Igbo and Middle Belt groups, in May, 2013,says thus:

“Today, if anything will stir me to fight, it is my belief that Biafra was right. When I was growing up, we were told a lot of things to hate Biafra. Maybe some of us were persuaded. But the more I grow up, the more I realize that it was the greatest mistake we made for not allowing Biafra to stand.

“You might not feel the pain that I feel, but if an Igbo man does not feel the pain that I feel, I am sorry for him. If an Urhobo man doesn’t feel the pain, I am sorry for him.

“What Ojukwu lived and died for, in the coming years, we will see it with our eyes because of the arrogance of a few people that were born to rule, and everybody accepts it. When you want to talk they say leave them alone. Why should I leave them? If you don’t bend your back, nobody will ride you.

“For the first time in history, the divide and rule tactics of those who have kept us down failed and the Igbo voted more for President Jonathan than the people of the South-South.

“Our gathering today is to bring the gathering of the dispossessed and oppressed people of the Middle Belt, Ndigbo people and the people of the Niger Delta together and we are going to move like a force.

“Let nobody be apologetic. What we want is political power. Political power is the key to our development and our dignity, and political power we must own come 2015. If President Jonathan says he is not contesting, we must hold on to the presidency. Either an Igbo man takes it or someone from the Middle Belt, we will continue to hold it.”

ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT: STELLA ODUA LIED AND SHE FINALLY BOXED HERSELF TO CORNER

Stella Oduah, Nigeria’s embattled Minister of Aviation, was at it again, this time, the untouchable Minister, manufactured a big lie meant to divert attention from the corruption scandal involving her, by alleged assassination attempt on her life!

On Monday evening, 26, November,2013, Nigeria’s embattled Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah, reported to the police that her car came under gunfire by unknown persons at Maitama area of Abuja on Friday at 10.30 p.m.

This story was corroborated by Nigerian Police, through the  Police Public Relations Officer at the Federal Capital Territory, Altienne Daniel, who confirmed that;    “The incident was reported to us on Monday at exactly 5.45pm and we are subjecting the metallic object we recovered from the car to ballistic test. I can’t say whether the object is a bullet or not, so I can’t give you any information on it for now,”

However, the cross-sections of Nigerian did not subscribe to this Oduah faked ‘gun attacked’. Below are some of the comments made by Nigerian:

“Nigerians are very wise and no one believes her story. No one had tried to kill her in the past, why is it now that she is under investigation for atrocities she has committed that someone would shoot at her car?”
“Everybody can arrange with anyone to shoot at his or her car, especially when we are not in the car and when we are under investigation.
“The issue here is simple, she broke the law, she has been indicted and should be removed. Nigerians will not fall for cock and bull stories,” said. Mohammed Tukur,  member of the Airlines Operators of Nigeria, said.

While Debo Adeniran, Chairman Coalition Against Corrupt Leaders, CACOL, said that; “The cooked-up story is an attempt to silence those who had remained critical of the prudence behind the purchase of the two bullet-proof cars at whopping sum of N255m by Ms. Oduah,”
“Does it not sound more like a make-believe thing that the incident that occurred on Friday was not reported until Monday? It is clear that the story is an attempt to justify the shenanigans perpetrated by the Minister.”
Adeniran  added.

.
In his own comment, Captain Dele Ore, President Aviation Round Table, said, “I will not talk about that Minister until she is fired.’’

According to activist Achike Chude, he maintained that; “They are separate issues. Let the police deal with the serious allegation of assassination attempt while the government deals with the serious problem of corruption involving her” . In addition Chude said “Can a system built on corruption and nurtured and dependent on corruption fight corruption? Ultimately, corruption destroys everything including those who perpetrate it.”

Justice Ohuegbu, a lawyer and human rights activist, while speaking during a television programme on Tuesday morning asked the police to stop embarrassing itself over something the Force knows is not true but cooked up.
According to him, the story was fabricated  and “Nigerians are not fools. The incident was stage-managed. We have been having billions of naira being stolen…Nigerian leaders make themselves enemies to the people.”
Darlington Agomuo, said: “as far as I am concerned, I don’t think the drama is necessary. When you have done something doubtful, there is no need adding to it.

“We don’t really know what happened. The police had pre-empted us. So they refused to allow us doubt the story before they could confirm.

“She is drawing attention to herself again and this can embarrass the Peoples Democratic Party and the Jonathan government because I am not sure Jonathan sent her to lie to Nigerians again. This is something I find difficult to understand because they draw attention to themselves unnecessarily. The impression they want us to get is that the bullet-proof car is very important.’’

“We don’t even need police confirmation on this. Personally, I think Oduah is not making her case any better.

“The police should not be too quick. If those who shot were actually after her life, they would have done their homework very well, not to shoot at the car when she was not there,” he said.

Dipo Olayoku, on his own said the confirmation given to the incident by the Nigerian Police has even done more damage to the incident and the corruption allegation against the Minister.
“Nigerians would want to know when it happened, what hour it happened, what was the level of success of the would-be assassins and other reasons behind the attack,” he said.

Olayoku, also lamented that; “The House of Representatives did investigation and is finding it difficult to submit its report. The Federal Government set up its panel and the panel submitted its report secretly and there is nothing coming out from it,”
