ANOTHER NIGERIAN STUDENT KILLED IN CYPRUS

A 28-year-old Stanley Eteimo,Nigerian was reported dead in Cyprus under a mysterious circumstance while partying at the popular 5-star Kratos Hotel on 8 of August  with some friends.
According to Mr Udengs Eradiri, the former Secretary-General of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), an eye witness said that “Eteimo had met an old white female classmate at the venue and went to say hello when her jealous boyfriend stepped forward and warned him to steer clear of his girlfriend and claimed that both men had a heated argument before the angry Cypriot boyfriend threatened Eteimo, saying he would deal with him for disrespecting him’’
However, the brother of the deceased said  that his brother had no reason to kill himself and that he saw blood stains on his ear, mouth, nose and neck.He said he called on the hotel to produce tapes of the CCTV for that night, which the hotel management has turned down.
Mr Eradiri added that:“It is sad to hear that an Ijaw son was murdered in North Cyprus. Up till now, the authorities could not explain the circumstances that led to his death; we won’t take this any longer.''
“We condemn the killing of the Ijaw youth studying in North Cyprus and call for further inquiry into the circumstances that led to his death,’’

More over as a human being  as it also entrenched in the United Nation charter on human right that anybody has the right of free association with anyone, received this news with shock and disbelief and we  called on the Federal Government and the Cypriot authorities to ensure that justice was done on the matter.
