According to source, a man was almost kidnapped by ritualist on Friday 29th, in his fish farm located @ Odoyanta via Irewon, Ijebu North East Local
Government, Ogun State.
''The culprits were led by the Iyalode of the town (Odoyanta) who
instructed her 3boys that came all the way from Ibadan to kidnap Mr Tola Kowope
an NCE graduate, who is also an auto craft repairer while he was feeding fishes
on his farm around 7am today, 24th of May 2015. It was God that saved him as an
elderly man closer to the farm area heard him screaming. Tola was chained on
his legs and batterly beaten.
The man ran into the
town and called people to the scene. That was how they were arrested. Their
case is in Obalende Police Station, Ijebu Ode. From the information given, the
so called Iyalode doesn't live in Odoyanta but come home once in a while. Since
her arrival yesterday with her boys, she was sighted gathering used empty
sacks. ‘
