DIEZANIGATE A TIP OF ICEBERG....ADAMS OSHIOMOLE

Adams Oshiomole, the Edo state governor, says the current alleged financial crime trial of the former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke is just a tip of the iceberg.  He says:

"For me I don’t think anybody should be surprised because the most favorable commentator on the Nigerian condition, on the economy, the polity and society, agree that our economy was badly managed over the past several years. I have not seen one commentator that disagrees. Even when they talk about rebasing and so what.

Have you rebased the level of poverty? Have you rebased prosperity? Have you rebased unemployment? Have you rebased homelessness? Have you rebased hunger? So I have not seen anyone that says Nigerian people are doing better. This was never my issue. I was only a spokesman of National Economic Council. But in this country when you speak out, all the arrows should be fashioned to attack you. But one of the things I learnt in life at the age of 17 when I got into the leadership of labour, is that the truth does not require supporters club. It can stand on its feet anyday. You can hit it. You can kick it.You can bomb it, but you can’t destroy it. The truth is that a lot of money was stolen and what you are seeing is just a tip of the iceberg, because when you imagine what accrues to Nigeria, consistently from 140 dollars, averaging 108 dollars over a long period of time and yet your treasury is empty. You were running a budget deficit, you were devoting 85 percent of your budget for four consecutive years on recurrent, you were borrowing and you draw the entire pensions fund.

Yesterday I saw a lot of analysis on how pension funds should be invested on infrastructure.” he said Oshiomole went further to react to claims tht the presidency had a hand in her arrest. "It’s not about who has hand in what. I think it’s about law and order. In other climes, institutions do their work. They are not at the beck and call of political authority. They have their mandate and the law specifies this and it is scrupulously followed. I’m the happiest person because I’ve been in government for seven years without being in power. I was in government, I couldn’t call a commissioner of police and talk as a security officer, I’m haunted by all manners of persons. You kill the snake in Edo, they will put the snake on life support in Abuja and they keep harassing us. Now all those venoms are dead and buried, for the first time I’m excited and happy not just for personal benefit, but for the changes I’m beginning to see.”he said

ASAWO NA BASTARD : MAN LOSES EAR OVER S3X ROMP IN LAGOS

This is just too funny. A woman, Precious Osas, 36, has been arrested and charged before Isolo Magistrates’ court for biting off a 25-year-old man’s ear, Chikwado Omokwa, over s3x in Lagos. The incident happened at a popular hotel in Okota area of Lagos.

According to the police, Precious, believed to be a commercial s3x worker, allegedly collected N3,500 from Omokwa for an all night s3x romp and failed to fulfill her own part of the bargain.
Trouble started after Precious allowed Omokwa a round of s3x and told him she wasn’t ready for another round until he paid her additional money. This resulted in exchange of words and a fight ensued between the s3x partners. During the fight, Precious allegedly grabbed Omokwa’s right ear and bit off part of it.

Omokwa, raised an alarm which attracted the attention of the hotel workers. Both of them were handed over to the police at Ikota division.

At the station, Omokwa told the police how he paid Precious N3,500 for s3x throughout the night and equally paid extra N350 for registration. He said Precious allowed him to have s3x only once and told him if he wanted another round, he should pay extra money.

On her part, Precious admitted that Omokwa paid the amount and she allowed him to have s3x with her as agreed. She said after the first round, he was demanding for extra round which she refused.
The police charged Precious with conducting herself in a disorderly manner by inflicting grievous harm on Omokwa’s ear. She pleaded not guilty and the presiding Magistrate, Mrs O. A. Adebayo granted her bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum.
Precious was remanded in prison custody at Kirikiri pending when she will perfect her bail. The matter was adjourned till 19 October, 2015.

CHARLES OKAH: ALLEGED MASTERMIND OF 2010 INDEPENDENCE DAY BOMBING ATTEMPTS SUICIDE IN COURT TODAY

Charles Okah, the alleged mastermind of the 2010 Independence Day bombing, today in Abuja attempted to commit suicide by trying to jump down from third floor of the five storey building of the Federal High Court, Abuja

Charles Okah, who is standing trial on charges of terrorism, requested the permission of the judge to speak after he realized that his lawyer was absent in court. The judge, Justice Gabriel Kolawole, granted the oral application and permitted him to speak for five minutes. According to the Guardian, Okah said
“I have been incarcerated for about five years now and I have a family to cater for. My children would grow up without feeling the warmth of their father and I am tired of this endless trial. I really do not know what I have done to be treated this way. Is it not better to die than to wait and be messed up this way?”
Immediately after he ended his speech, he made the suicide attempt by grabbing a chair in the court and quickly moved toward a window on third floor of the five-storey building

Consequently, Justice Kolawole adjourned the case to Oct. 20 for continuation of trial.

PHOTO: EBONYI SCHOOL OF HEALTH (?)

According to a facebook user, Esan Kehinde Paul, the picture above is that of Ebonyi School of Health! As you can see, the facility and environment stand in sharp contrast to the student's desired profession. Ironically, these students are expected to be good and qualified health professional….no way! Can someone ask the Governor or commissioners of education and that of health of this state what really are the problems?

One commentator writes:” Nigerians will not stop being gullible cos the governor will soon contest for 2nd term and parents will gullibly vote for him while their children get 'qualitative education' in a house meant for the goats”

REAVELED: BANKS THAT AIDS -ABETS AND PROVIDES SANCTUARY FOR AFRICAS' STOLEN MONEY

Whenever we are talking about corruptions or looting of treasuries in Africa, we must not forget that these looters are always having collaborators in foreign countries. Banks in Switzerland, Britain, America, France, Luxembourg, Austria, Liechtenstein , Australia, New Zealand and other offshore Islands controlled by the West provides save heaven for stolen money from African nations.

It was revealed that banks in ‘’Europe and America, alleged to have aided, abetted and provided sanctuary for Abacha’s $4 billion stolen funds, are: Australia and New Zealand Banking Group, ANZ, London Branch; Bank Len, Zurich; Bankers Trust Company, London; Bankers Trust Company, Frankfurt; Bankers Trust Company, New York; Banque Barring Brothers, Geneva; Bank in Liechtenstein A.G Vaduz; Barclays Bank, New York; Barclays Bank, London, Banque Edonard Constant, General; Banque Nationale De Paris, Geneva; Banque Nationale De Paris, London , Banqwue National De Paris, Basle; Citibank,N.A. London; Citibank NA, New York, Citibank N.A. Luxenbourg; Citibank Zurich; Credit Lyonnais, New York; Credit Suisse, New York, Credit Suisse, General; Credit Suisse,Zurich; Deutche Morgan Grenfell, Jersey; FIBI Bank (Schweiz) A.G Zurich; First Bank of Boston, London; Goldman Sachs and Company, Zurich; Gothard Bank, Geneva; LGT Liechtenstein Bank, Vaduz; Liechtenstein Landesbank, Vanduz; M.M. Warburg and Company  Luxembourg; M. M. Warburg and Company,Zurich; M. M. Warburg and Company, Hamburg; Merrill Lynch Bank, New York; Merrill Lynch Bank, Geneva; Midland Bank, London; National Westminister Bank, London; Paribus, London; Paribus, Geneva; Royal Bank of Scotland , Leeds; Standard Bank London Limited, London; UBS AG, Zurich; UBS AG, Geneva; Union Bancaire Privee, Geneva; Union Bancaire Privee, London; London Branch; Verwaltungs Und Private Bank A. G., Vaduz; and ANZ, New York; ANZ, Frankfurt. Only heaven knows how much of the alleged Abacha´s loot still remains in these banks. We did not hear anything about these banks in the Western media and how they purportedly helped Abacha to loot Nigeria’s resources until his death in 1998.

Fast-forward, it is common for Western companies looking for lucrative contracts to pay bribes and kickbacks to induce officials into awarding them; apart from the banking sector, the property sector in Europe, America and Australia were alleged to have connived with the political and business elite in Africa to impoverish the people.

Several African leaders have reportedly bought properties in Europe and America using monies stolen from their poor countries. It is alleged that Mobutu of DRC (Zaire) bought several villas in France, Switzerland, Belgium and many European countries.

For example, on September 17, 2002, a Canadian firm was convicted by a High Court in Lesotho for paying $260,000 bribe to secure an $8 billion dam contract.
In 2002, Halliburton, a company once controlled by Dick Cheney (former US Vice President), was accused of establishing $180m fund and used it to bribe Nigerian officials in order to secure a $10 billion Liquefied Gas Plant contract in Nigeria.

Achair Partners (a Swiss company) and Progresso (an Italian company) have been accused of bribing Somalia’s Transition Government officials in order to secure contracts to deposit highly toxic industrial waste in the waters of Somalia.

In October 2002, after a three year investigation, a UN Panel of Experts accused Cabot Corporation (Boston), Eagle Wings Resources International, and George Forrest’s OM Group (Ohio) of arming rebel groups and collaborating with them to traffic from DR. Congo gold, diamond, timber and, most importantly, coltan (columbo-tantalite)-a precious ore essential to Sony play stations, laptop computers, and cell phones. Coltan is often spirited out of DRC to U.S., Swiss, Belgian, and German clients by Uganda and Rwanda army officers, rebel groups and through a network of criminal syndicates.
Such corrupt practices by Western companies seeking contracts in Africa are part of the reasons poverty and diseases are rife in the continent.’’

PHOTO: GHANAIAN TOP ACTRESS IN 'INDECENT' XPOSURE

Lydia Forson, ripped her apart by her fans because of the Monochrome high slit dress she wore to Glitz Africa Style Awards in which many said it was a miss.

To react to their judgement, she posted the above picture with the caption: "Oh. You didn't see the full look now did you? Ha. Here's what they missed when they were busy asking hit or miss. Sorry I didn't get the memo, thought they said style awards. #MyBodyChoice."

But her followers, whom she thought would hail her, ripped her apart. Lydia proved not to be as thick skinned as she initially portrayed herself to be by deleting the picture. She then posted a more "decent" one with the caption:
"I love that fashion is an individual decision and statement.

Its appreciation is solely based on the perception of the looking party. I love this look even if others don't. Because for some reason which you don't have to understand, I felt all kinds of sexy even if I was partially covered up.".

GHANA: 7 OUT OF 12 HIGH COURT JUDGES SUSPENDED OVER CORRUPTION ALLEGATIONS

Ghana's government suspended seven out of 12 high court judges on Monday in the wake of allegations of bribery stemming from a documentary made by an investigative journalist.

The decision is part of a response to a three-hour film first screened in the capital last month that has caused an uproar in the West African country because it showed judges accepting bribe money through intermediaries.

Ghana's judiciary is revered for its efficacy and impartiality and is viewed as a bulwark of a society that prides itself on its reputation as one of Africa's most stable and peaceful democracies.

But the documentary put Chief Justice Georgina Wood and other judicial leaders under pressure to show a forceful public response.

"Their suspension follows the establishment of a prima facie case of stated misbehaviour against them by the Hon. Lady Chief Justice (Wood)," said a statement from the Judicial Service announcing a decision by Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur based on advice from the Judicial Council.

The council previously suspended 22 junior judges who appeared in the video and investigated the conduct of high court judges to see if there is a case for their impeachment.

Some of the judges have denied wrongdoing and have filed a challenge in court, saying their suspension had no legal basis because documents relating to the video that were submitted by the journalist were not made available to them.

RACISM IN HUNGARY (HEARTBREAKING STORY): HOW MY BROTHER WAS PUCHED UNDER A MOVING TRAIN !!!

A British/Zimbabwean photographer, who goes by the name @Dcmorr on instagram, took to his page this morning to share a heart breaking story of racism in Hungary. Below is what he wrote:

Hungary is a deeply racist society. I have been here nine years and people insult me all the time. Someone said to me on the Metro "Hey monkey, where are your bananas?” I can cope with that. Just don't touch me. I have a scar on my forehead, a skinhead came up to me with a bat and hit me on the head, to bash my brains out. As soon as I get my passport I am leaving.

I am happy I am alive. My brother was murdered in Vienna. Pushed under a train. They still haven’t caught the person that pushed him under the train. There are cameras everywhere. If a dog was killed they would have caught the person. I spent two months there, all my money went. They would not even let me see his body. I said you cannot bury him and finally they let me see the body. My brother, same father, same mother. What can I tell my family?
