I AM NOT A PROSTITUTE...SIKIRAT SINDODO

Temitayo Odueke, a.k.a. Sikiratu Sindodo,Nollywood Yoruba star recently said that people have a wrong impression about her, adding that she is not a prostitute and sleep around with different men.
She explained that thus: “I wear different kinds of clothes just to fit into the character I am playing at a particular time but I am different.

That I have tatoos and piercings does not matter.“Some people that do not have these things are worse. I do not sleep around, they have bad impressions about me. When I am dating a person I make it known. I do not have to hide it that I am dating somebody. If I am dating a person and the person trusts me, my family knows about the person and knows what I can do. I don’t care about what anybody says,” she declared.

True to her I don’t care attitude, it would be recalled that Sikirat, already admitted  that she is dating, Malika , who already  have two wives only at presently !

WHY I CONVERTED TO ISLAM....LIZ ANJORIN

Controversial Nollywood Yoruba actress, Liz Anjorin, said of recent why she changed her religion from Christianity to Islam, this is how she put it:
“No man can make me convert to Islam. I converted to Islam because of my late mum. Something happened the day she passed on. I wouldn’t disclose that here. So, I went to Mecca to pray for her and also, for myself as an orphan”, she said.

Describing life after her trip to Mecca as beautiful, Liz revealed that for the past 18 years, she has never gone to any church to worship. “I have been a Muslim for a long time now, even when I was in the North. You can never spot me in any social function wearing suggestive clothes. In fact I ceased to be a Christian 18 years ago”

CLARION CHUKWURAH PREFERS RELATIONSHIP TO MARRIAGE

Clarion Chukwurah is one of the Nollywood veteran stars. She doesn’t like pretence. She says it the way it is, whether you like it not. Clarion bare her mind to a reporter recently on her idea about relationship, vis-a vis marriage of a thing, below is her candid opinion:

Yes. I made a choice. I had Clarence, but I didn’t get married to his father [Sir Shina Peters]. I got married to Brian’s father, but it didn’t work out. I made a choice and if I had to be married, my focus will have to be divided and somehow there will be some psychological upheaval in my children. This could be because of the fact that my father died while I was a child and my growing up was about my mum. I grew up in an environment, where the woman was focused on raising her children, so I made a choice. My mum would have gotten married again, but she made a choice.

On marriage:
(Laughs) Why does it have to be marriage? Why can’t it be a relationship? No, no, no…I think a relationship makes it easier for both of us, you know. We each have our different and established lives. There are certain things you don’t start expecting the person to give up. This is because marriage means you have to give up one or two things. When you start expecting somebody to give up something for you, then, you start expecting cramping that person’s style. I think it is more convenient to love each another and each other’s best friend. Just be in a relationship and it will happen.

On secret of her beauty:
I will say I am one of the luckiest African women. But then, I take very good care of myself. I am disciplined about what I eat. I’m a food person; I’m a liquid person; I’m a fish person and I take a lot of the Chinese tea and vegetables. I am someone who believes that cleanness is next to godliness. It is very personal to me. I am a spa person; I take care of my skin and I use the spa every month, no matter how busy I am. And naturally, I’m an elegant and graceful person; I carry myself well.

6-0 THRASHING OF ARSENAL: MOURINHO BOYS JUST TOO GOOD

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho says his side were “too strong”for Arsenal following the 6-0 thrashing at Stamford Bridge. “We managed to do that and at 2-0 after seven minutes the game is over, because we were too strong for them. Mourinho said.

I don’t really like watching Arsenal game with one of my cousin ‘Owolabi Taiwo’, this guy is just too fanatical about his club the ‘Gunners ‘ whether  they  are playing  good or not it has to be Arsenal !!! I think he will now agree with me now that Mourinho Blues; are just too good.

The Portuguese said: “I think we started in an incredible way, seven minutes in, 2-0 and the game is over,” Mourinho told BT Sport.

“I think we started very, very strongly. We really wanted to try to make Arsenal feel not comfortable in the way they play, we tried to press immediately and recover the ball quickly.
“After that comes the penalty and the red card, even worse for them, but I think the game was resolved in 10 minutes.”

“There were lots of people in the box, I think it was Eden with the shot,” the two-time Champions League winner mused.
“From the dug-out we see one player diving like a keeper and touching the ball with his hands, but from the bench we couldn’t say which.

“My assistant was saying [Mikel] Arteta, the other one was saying Chamberlain and referee or the linesman said Gibbs.
“It’s a difficult decision and if the fourth official says Gibbs … the penalty was a penalty, the red card was a red card, and unfortunately the wrong boy came off.”
“We had momentum, but for some reason last Saturday the momentum stopped,” he continued.

“Now we are trying to build another momentum and the victory against Galatasaray was important, and against Arsenal … as Arsene Wenger was saying before the match, it was the most important game of the season for them.

“We don’t say that, but we say it was a very important match for us because Arsenal is always an important rival, they are a rival also in the fight for the top four.

“When we get the top four we want to finish in the top three and qualify automatically for the Champions League and not have to qualify, so it was important to beat them.”

Mourinho was asked if his side can win the Premie League title.“If they let us,” he joked.

On entering the building, the people who made the discovery reportedly met the inmates who were highly malnourished .One of them was looking like a skeleton and in the throes of death with his mouth hanging open while he groaned in pain as flies hovered around his mouth, nose and eyes.

The building beside it, it was learnt, also belonged to Black Horse Plastic Company. Also discovered were many shoes, bags, clothes and other accessories were found in two containers which stood beside the house while mobile numbers 08140574774 and 07038651723 with the name ’Friba’ and 08061197191 with the name ‘Koko Aram’ were also written on the inside wall of the building.Identification cards with names such as Mr Rafiu Alamu (tanker driver) and national identity and First Bank ATM cards belonging to one Mrs Janet Motunrayo Lemo were also found at the scene.

The Operation Burst and policemen from Sanyo arrived at the scene and arrested four men who claimed to be security guards of the building which belongs to Black Horse.
One of the security guard who gave his name as Abideen Akanmu, said that he was brought to the building by one Gbadamosi to watch over the house inmates and disclosed that Gbadamosi used to bring people who were dirty looking. “We would bring them and shave their heads,” he disclosed.

A member of the community who spoke anonymously said: “when I got there, I saw people who were like mad people but on a closer look, I saw that they were not really mad, but had gone through starvation. Some of them said they had been there for two years while others said seven months.

“I was told that some of them died from starvation. That was why I called the chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Prince Abass Alesinloye so that he could see things himself.”

Another community leader, Dr Amodu Akeem, a lecturer at Lead City University also said: “At about 10.45am, I received a call from a neighbour who intimated me of the discovery in our community.
“When I got there, I discovered that they were not mad people as they spoke Yoruba and English fluently. They were about 15. That prompted us to alert the local government chairman.”
They both appealed to the government to intensify patrol in the neighbourhood as the community had become endangered with what was discovered.

Another female inmate said she just delivered of a baby on Friday and the baby was immediately taken away.

The chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Prince Abass Alesinloye said he had already called the attention of the Special Adviser to the governor on Security Matters to the matter. He added that he had called security agents such as Operation Burst and Divisional Police Officer, Sanyo Division so that the place would be secured.

I PITY NIGERIAN UNBORN GENERATIONS:ABACHA & HIS GANG LOOTED OVER $2BILLION FROM NATION TREASURY

The United States Government said General Sanni Abacha, his gang and some of his children secured 60 false security votes letters to draw over $2billion from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) .

Some of the cash transferred from the CBN, under the guise of security votes, to foreign accounts included $1.1billion and £413 million (GBP) in cash; $50,465,450; £3,500,000 GBP in traveller’s cheques; and $386, 290, 169, it was also gathered that more than $700million of the money was delivered to Mohammed Abacha in bags or boxes full of cash.

In a document filed by the United States Department in the District and Bankruptcy Courts for the District of Columbia, the US court document, said in part: “Abacha together with Mohammed Sani Abacha, Bagudu and others, systematically embezzled public funds worth billions of dollars from the CBN on the pretext that the funds were necessary for national security.
“After causing the CBN to release the funds, often in cash, Gen. Abacha and Bagudu then moved the funds overseas, including through US financial institutions (the Security Votes Fraud).
“Over 60 false security votes’ letters were addressed to and endorsed by Gen. Abacha, each of which resulted in the withdrawal of Nigeria’s public funds from the CBN.
“Subsequently, the funds were deposited into accounts controlled by, or used to purchase assets for the benefit of, Gen. Abacha, Bagudu or other members of the conspiracy.”

The document quoted samples of some of the false security votes letters raised by a former National Security Adviser, Aliyu Ismaila Gwarzo.
The document said: “By letter, dated June 2, 1994, Gwarzo falsely stated: “In view of the ongoing negative campaign against this country, a small international operation has been mounted to cover it. Please approve as a matter of urgency, the sum of $5million for this operation
“By letter dated November 30, 1994, Gwarzo falsely stated:$100m requested to combat an economy that was deflected and distorted through the black market.
“By letter, dated August 20, 1996, Gwarzo falsely stated: “In light of the current political situation in the country, coupled with the increase in security operations, there is need for a lot of funds to handle the challenges outlined above such that I require N350million plus $30million and 15million pounds. Please consider the desperate need and approve.
“Each of these letters and others like them were endorsed by Gen. Abacha.”
The document also gave insights into how the embezzled funds were looted from the CBN and transferred out of the country through United States.

The document added: “Shortly after Gen. Abacha’s death, the government of Nigeria established a Special Investigation Panel(SIP), which found that Gen. Abacha and his co-conspirators had used false security votes letters to steal and defraud more than $2billion in public funds, including: (1) at least $1.1billion and £ 413 million (GBP) in cash(2) at least $50,465,450 and £ 3,500,000 GBP in traveller’s cheques; and (3) at least $386, 290, 169 through wire transfers.

“The conspirators transported the proceeds of the Security Votes Fraud out of Nigeria to accounts in Europe that were under the conspirators’ private control, including the Rayville and Standard Alliance accounts at Banque SBA, the Eagle Alliance and Mecosta accounts at ANZ (London) and the Mecosta account at Standard Bank as described below.

“The CBN staff and other individuals known and unknown to the United States generally would deliver the currency stolen with the security votes letters to Gwarzo at his residence.
“Gwarzo and others acting at his discretion would repackage the currency in secure bags and then deliver it to Gen. Abacha at his residence in Abuja, Nigeria.
“Gen. Abacha or those acting at his direction, delivered more than $700million of these funds to Mohammed Abacha in bags or boxes full of cash.

“Mohammed Abacha gave the cash he received to Bagudu, who later arranged for the money to be transferred to accounts controlled by Bagudu and Mohammed Abacha in foreign countries.
“Transfers included deposits into accounts in the name of defendants Mecosta, Doraville, Standard Alliance, and Rayville, as well as Eagle Alliance and Harbour Engineering.
“In order to move the money overseas, Bagudu deposited the cash proceeds of the Security Votes Fraud into at least one of two Nigerian commercial banks, Union Bank of Nigeria and/ or Inland Bank of Nigeria.”
Bagudu referred to the money deposited into Union Bank and Inland Bank as his “cash swaps.”
“Bagudu and/or Mohammed Abacha then instructed Union Bank or Inland Bank to transfer the stolen funds to other accounts under Bagudu or Mohammed Abacha’s control, such as accounts in the name of Mecosta, Rayville and Eagle Alliance.

“Inland Bank or Union Bank made the necessary arrangements to transfer the money overseas. The funds were transferred from Union Bank or Inland Bank back to the CBN to an account held by Union Bank or Inland Bank at the CBN.
“The CBN then transferred the funds from the account of Union Bank or Inland Bank to their respective overseas domiciliary accounts held at banks in either London or New York.
“The specific London or New York account varied depending on which Nigerian commercial bank had been used in the first instance.
“Through these “cash swaps,” at least $137million was transported into and out of the United States, and into accounts held in the name of the defendant corporations.”

The document listed 16 accounts and assets to be forfeited by Gen. Abacha and his associates.
The Department of Justice added: “On November 18, 2013, the prosecutor filed a forfeiture action in the U.S District Court for the District of Columbia seeking to forfeit the proceeds of money laundering and corruption offences related to the investigation of General Abacha and his associates.

CRIME: ANOTHER 'BABY-MAKING FACTORY' DISCOVERED IN OGUN STATE

The questions that are begging for answers in my mind are; is Nigeria a cursed land or is it true that the God is really angry with the citizens? Why do i ask these questions? It would be recalled that Police in Akwam Ibom, busted an illegal ‘’baby-making factory’’ few weeksago, this time around, another illegal ‘’baby-making factory’’ has been uncovered in Akute, Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State where eight pregnant women, including a 16-year-old girl, were discovered and rescued.

The proprietor of the factory, Mrs. Angela Chigoeze, and her brother-in-law, Obinna Ndunaga, have also been arrested by the police command on Thursday.

The state Commissioner of Police, Ikemefuna Okoye, while conducting journalists round the bungalow said:   “When we moved in around 7am on Thursday, we couldn’t get anything. So, we left. But later we got information and we came back to the house and continued searching. We discovered that the pregnant girls were hidden in the wardrobe.
“One of the girls kept in the wardrobe fainted and she was taken to the hospital and revived. This is inhumanity to human beings. The coordinator (Angela) of this baby factory sold each baby at N300,000 or even above. She in turn gives pittance to these young girls. If the mother delivers a stillborn, she will not get anything.”

The pregnant teenagers arrested are, 16-year-old Precious Steven, as well as Miracle Eze and Blessing Saviour both of who claimed to be 17 year old each.Others were Jeremiah Gift, 25; Joy Okoro, 20; Stella Samuel, 19; Agnes Igbo, 22 and Vivian Princewill, 20.
The proprietor of the factory, Angela, 29, who hails from Abia State, claimed that her husband, who is now at large, rented the building last year as a traditional healing home
The state Commissioner of Police, Ikemefuna Okoye, disclosed that those arrested would be transferred to the State Police  Command Headquarters at Eleweran, Abeokuta, for further investigation..
