Meanwhile, read the post shared by Frank Bawumia on how it all happened:
A guy resident in Europe met this lady Nana Ama Asare, otherwise known as Victoria Tebri on Fb and lovi lovi ensued! At some point in their long distance talk talk,  the guy expressed the desire to settle back in Ghana so he shipped 3 cars to his supposed fiance plus money for port charges.  Nana Ama Asare dutifully cleared the vehicles giving the impression that she is faithful partner.   So May 29 this year, Borga packed bag and baggage to get closer to his Yellow Sister for the necessary biegya and other things! On arrival at KIA, Nana Ama was waiting at the reception.  What a loving galfriend she is!  He had come with two of the vehicles, she drove one veh and a male friend drove the other.  Since that was their first time of seeing each other, they agreed to spend the night at the hotel so that no one will hear their moaning and groaning.  The luggage was packed in the other car whilst the two new lovers drove in one car.  On their way to the hotel, they stop to eat a restaurant.  Whilst at the Restaurant, Ms Nana Ama Asare asked politely to pick something from the car just for a moment, but apparently that's was her escape plan!  SHE DISAPPEARED and that was the last time her new found lover heard of her. Borga waited and waited saaaaaaa till he could no longer endure the loneliness and the frustration anymore n went home confused, raped and sad!  Soon as Ms Asare disappeared, all her phones went off and her fb porfile pulled down! The case has since been reported to the police and the general public is hereby requested to help apprenhend this yellow sisi of doubtful character! I have the "other pics" and will be provided if u help to arrest her.  If u have any info to help  kindly call any of the nos below.

US HOSPITAL GUNMAN IDENTIFIED AS NIGERIAN

The gunman, who shot six people at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Centre in New York, United States, on Friday, Dr. Henry Michael Bello, has been identified as a Nigerian.

Some Nigerians in New York, who knew Bello, confirmed this on Friday.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) has also identified him as a Nigerian-born doctor.

Bello, 45, shot dead a woman, on the 17th floor and injured at least six others on the 16th floor, before killing himself the NYPD Commissioner, James O’Neil, said.

Five of his victims were seriously injured and “fighting for their lives.”

Bello went into his former workplace wearing a white lab coat with an AR-15 machine gun hidden underneath with the intention of targeting the same individual.

NYPD officials said Bello asked for a specific doctor on the 16th floor but when he was told the  doctor was not there, he became angry and started shooting at everyone.

Officials said Bello tried to set himself on fire before committing suicide.

Reports said Bello, who was hired at the hospital in August 2014 as a house physician, had been arrested in the past for sex abuse, turnstile jumping, burglary and public urination.

In September 2004, he was arrested and charged with sex abuse and unlawful imprisonment after a 23-year-old woman told officers he had grabbed her crotch area outside a building on Bleecker Street in Manhattan and tried to penetrate her through her underwear.

Court records indicated that in September 2004, Bello pleaded guilty to unlawful imprisonment in the second degree, a misdemeanour, and was sentenced to community service, while the felony sexual abuse charge was dismissed, according to reports.

He was going to be fired by the hospital, after reports of sexual harassments, but instead chose to resign in February 2015 in lieu of termination, reports added.

Reports from the New York State Education Department said Bello had received a limited permit to practice as an international medical graduate in order to gain experience so he could be licensed.

The permit was issued on July 1, 2014, and expired on July 1, 2016, while he also had a pharmacy technician license that had been issued in California in 2006.

He went to medical school on the island of Dominica in the Caribbean.

"I HAVE RESPONSIBILITY TO DEFEND SUSPECTED KIDNAPPER"~~LAGOS LAWYER

Lagos lawyer, Olukoya Ogungbeje, has justified his decision to defend suspected notorious kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, a.k.a. Evans, in court.

Ogungbeje has come under public criticisms for accepting the brief to seek freedom for Evans from police detention, or have him charged to court, weeks after his arrest. Nigerians had taken to the media to condemn the move, saying, the notorious criminal suspect who confessed to denying his victims their freedom did not deserve mercy considering the atrocities he reportedly committed with his gang members.

But, speaking with Saturday Sun yesterday, Ogungbeje, accused a section of the media, as well as many Nigerians of being ignorant of the law.

Citing a judgment delivered by Lord Denning, regarded as the most famous and influential judicial figure of the last century, he noted that it was settled in law that “no matter the bases of the complaints of the cause of your crime, no matter how unpopular is the cause of your crime, no matter how bad is the cause of your crime, the legal practitioner has a duty to take up the cause, if he’s properly briefed and provided that person represents his client within the bounds of law.”

He added:

“That is my answer to your question. So, no matter the public opinion, I have the responsibility to take up the matter. We were properly briefed. So, our action is based on law. And we want to represent our client within the bounds of law, within the confines of law. So, if you for instance, you’re a journalist, if you brief me… you don’t want me to take up your cause, because people are saying negative things about you, or because people have condemned you and found you guilty before the media, that I should not take up your case?
“Look, let me tell you right away. We were briefed two weeks ago. And I told them to give me two weeks to think, whether I would take up the brief or not. I did my consultations. We consulted even journalists, you can go and make enquiries. I consulted my people. I consulted senior lawyers. So, have I done what is wrong by taking the cause of my clients? Forget what people say in the court of public of opinion.
