RELIGION: IS THE GURU DEAD OR MEDITATING (SAMADHI) SINCE JANUARY 2014

“His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, founder & head of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) is in Samadhi; the highest state of consciousness. Samadhi is a subject of yog, spirituality, consciousness and faith; it cannot be gauged by physical techniques pertaining only to material world.

Many times in the past, Shri Maharaj Ji has entered into Samadhi and has come out of it at his will. Moreover, the occurrence of Samadhi has been an innate part of India’s spiritual heritage since time immemorial.

A few people with mallafied intentions are spreading rumours that Shri Maharaj Ji is no more. They are outraging the religious sentiments of followers of Shri Maharaj Ji across the World. People who are giving statements against Samadhi of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji and the organisation have a past record of acting maliciously against the organisation.”

However, the mystery over Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan (DJJS) founder Ashutosh Maharaj's 'death' or 'transcendental samadhi' deepened further, this spiritual minded guru has been on this 'transcendental samadhi' and kept inside freezer since January, 2014! Meanwhile doctors declared the guru 'clinically dead' of heart attack on January 29, but his loyal followers refused to accept the reality.

Dera management claimed that he was in deep meditation while refusing to put any time limit to his "revival". DJJS preachers stated that media had created hype on the issue and "rumours of death" spread due to communication gap.

Dera preachers Vishalanand, Vishavdevanand and Jaya Bharti, who interacted with the media at dera headquarters, ruled out any possibility to allow any outsider, including senior official or media persons, to have a look at the sect head from a distance while he was in 'samadhi.' They said initial information about Ashutosh Maharaj's death was given by some 'sewadars' (volunteers) as they could not comprehend he was in 'samadhi'.

"Earlier also he would sit in 'samadhi' for longer times, which could be of several hours after bolting his room from inside," the dera spokespersons said. However, they admitted that earlier they had never seen him in such a condition. They also denied that there was any row of succession in the dera.

MURDER SUSPECT WHO RAN TO NIGERIA 'JEFFREY OKAFOR' ARRESTED

Nigerian police on Tuesday September 23rd, arrested Jeffrey Okafor, the Nigerian suspected of killing a young rapper and DJ named Carl Beatson Asiedu  who was stabbed to death outside a nightclub in south London in 2009

This was about a month after UK police looking for him launched a high-profile online appeal to trace him. Okafor was last seen on CCTV boarding a flight at Heathrow Airport using his brother's passport about two weeks after the murder.

A UK police source said he's in police custody in Nigeria and proceedings are now underway for his extradition to the UK so he can face charges for the killing.

 Khadijah Kamara , mother of teenage British Jihadist Ibrahim Kamara,19, killed in Syria urged other teenagers not to follow in her ‘brainwashed’ son’s footsteps.

She also demanded to know why airport officials had not stopped him, given that his passport had expired and he had stolen his 15-year-old brother’s. She said: ‘They look nothing like each other.’

 According to her, Ibrahim had been a diligent GCSE student in the East Sussex city, and ‘obedient’ boy until he fell under the spell of the Deghayes brothers – three nephews of former Guantanamo Bay inmate Omar Deghayes whom they travelled to Syria together.

‘He was a normal respectful boy. He had friends at school. He was studying IT and wanted to become an engineer.’

 ‘No one should think what he did was right, and no one should follow him,he was brainwashed, and it happened very quickly. She said.

She said , Ibrahim in the past year had begun to defy her and come home late and in October 2013, he moved out into his own flat in Brighton .She believes this was the time he was plotting with the Deghayes brothers to go to Syria.
‘These are the boys that he listens to. He didn’t listen to his mother or his brothers. He must have been brainwashed.
‘They all went off together in January.
‘His passport was expired so he went up into my room and got the passport of his 15-year-old brother.
‘It makes me wonder about the border control people because they look nothing like each other. Why they got away with that, I don’t know.’
 ‘I was very angry and disappointed when he told me he was in Syria. I hate the idea of war.
‘I’m upset that he would listen to these people and not to his mother or his brothers who care for him.
‘War is the answer to nothing. No religion tells anyone to fight.
‘I pray that God forgives him. I forgive him – he’s only human and we all make mistakes.’ Mrs Kamara said.

Princess Linda Adedeji is a fast rising Yoruba actress who has done so much for herself. She hails from Ado-Ekiti in Ekiti State. She is happily married to Prince Aderemi and both are blessed with a lovely son. Linda who claimed that she joined movie industry in 2004 said she has featured in over 50 movies and produced three so far by herself. ‘The first film I produced was “Igbekun-abo” in 2005, the second was”Alejo” in 2006 and the third one is “OYINKANSOLA” which was released on 28th of Jan 2013’.she said.

There is this saying that Yoruba industry is polluted, what do you have to say on that?
‘Yes, the movie industry is polluted generally; it’s not peculiar to Yoruba industry alone. I must tell you the truth, when I first started; the harassment was too much from directors and producers. Like I said earlier, I started with Faliwerepe, I featured in most of all her films, but whenever I wanted to feature in other films by the opposite s*x; it’s always a problem, I have gone to a location where I was given a major role and after the rehearsal, the producer came to me and said I should co-operate before he would give me the role, I did not understand him at first not until he said it in a lay man’s language, I was so sad. I got mad and blasted him by raining curses and abuses on him. I left the location immediately. Later on, I decided to start producing my own film and be my own boss instead of using my precious body to get roles, my talent is inbuilt, so why should someone have a taste of my body before giving me role. I started producing my own movies to help upcoming actresses like myself especially’ Princess Linda said.
